The only reason Shukla's fights with Paras were not extreme because Paras is a phattu and used to run away. When the introduction was happening and all these guys ( +Abu Malik) were sitting together, Paras ridiculed him because he knew how hardcore reality shows could get and he thought that the model with pretty boy looks and fake-ish accent would not last very long. Infact I am sure, most of us judged Asim at that stage. Paras bullied the newcomer then because he presented an easy target.

But when he was not evicted, as predicted, the nastiness and insecurity started. Now that he is loved, it has crossed all boundaries.

Shukla, on the other hand, was pretty secure about his identity in the beginning. He was the hero who was well loved outside, and so he took Asim under his wing. But when the underdog objected against the toxic friendship and raised his voice, it became a problem. The jealousy started when women flocked to him and stayed there.

Both Paras and Shukla understand that the newcomer is getting love from outside. It might not have been telecasted but I'm sure guests would have shared their preferences. Plus, they realize that the makers are being biased because they actually need support. Asim is pretty powerful without it!

Asim's popularity is shaking their fragile macho identities, hence the fireworks!😆

Yup, I've always said this about the bias too. Shukla and Paras are not dumbasses. Well, Paras is kind of a dumbass generally lol but he understands reality shows and showbiz very well. Shukla is super smart. He's obviously a thinker (in fact, probably an over-thinker based on his insane rage over the smallest things).

With nothing to do but sit with your thoughts all day in that house, those two have figured out that Asim's success is happening DESPITE the bias working against him. And I bet it drives them crazy. How can we be in a stadium with a much stronger, well-experienced team AND the referee brought, and yet this guy still scores goals? They love ganging up on him infront of Salman and bringing up his smallest points to put him down. But I also think both of them are smart enough to know that its a huge sign of their weakness that they have to do that. Even with the host and the show in Shukla's pocket, he can't seem to do anything about this 25-year old nobody who came from god knows where and is taking everybody's attention away from these so-called 'seniors.'

Yes, definitely not idiots. But despite having more experience about the industry, they still aren't able to manage the image they are presenting to the audience.

I remember Gautam manipulating his 'victim' persona smartly. Even if the makers were favouring him, he was smart enough to play along and behave like a hero. In the end people were satisfied with the outcome.

Here, it looks as if Shukla is taking things for granted. If he thinks that he brought Asim here, then he would not be wrong. He was the reason for Asim's popularity. But not in a conventional way.

When Shukla couldn't control his words and actions, Asim emerged as a foil. The latter came across as a hero, in contrast to the channel's damaad.

I wonder why they aren't able to understand that? Too cocky perhaps!
