Hey Kashmir is beautiful and absolutely safe. Kashmiri people are very helpful and they adore tourists. You should go once. I have gone in 2016 and did shrinagar, pahalgam, gulmarg, sonmarg. Amazing it is. I have gone to Switzerland but if you ask i will say it is nothing in front of Kashmir.

PS: IDK i guess one should wait to get things normalize to kick start tourism again after 5th august. other than that it is all good.

Also Situation in Kashmir atleast till last year was absolutely fine. As a part of my family belongs to Kashmir- we go there once every summer and we have a house in Son Marg- around 4-5 hours from Srinagar.

Really ? That sounds interesting. I want to come for 3 weeks and visit a few places like Ladakh, Shimla, Darjeeling, Kolkata... I am planning it since 10 years. I don't know when that day will come. 🤣

Yeah heard Kashmir is paradise on Earth. The pictures and videos look amazing. It was even shown beautifully in Ishq Subhan Allah show.

I think I am not coming before 2021 so hopefully till then things will get better.

Yeah! Well you should. Ladakh you must spend atleast 5-7 days for sure. Simla-2-4 days. Cal- 2-3 days and Darjeeling- Gangtok- about 5-6 days! Darj- Gangtok is just 3 hours drive. Beautiful drive

Heard the name Gangtok first time. Just checked the pictures. Wooow so beautiful. Do you have suggestion of any other places to visit ? Kerala is nice too na ?

Gangtok is beautiful. Has a strong Buddhist and Tibetan cultural influence with local Sikkimese and Nepali culture influences.

I would say you should plan two separate trips one for North India. Which you should do Rajasthan palaces( if you haven’t) The Himalayas( simla and maybe manali) and Ladakh. You could add Cal, Darjeeling and Gangtok( or arunachal to it) delhi and cal can be your main cities to fly in and out of.

The next one do south and west India. Mumbai, Goa, kerala( about 5 days- lots of beautiful places), Pondicherry too( interesting culturally).

I wanted to visit Kashmir so much .

But my parents don't allow me to because it's very unsafe
