yes u could be but in my case general physician was helpless... they have no idea of the dept of this disease... trust me I go through this disease at age of 15 to 25 ... I was come on wheelchair than back to on my legs ... only specialist can help... GP has transfer my case... and xray took just minutes and my doc told me in half an hour that i have hairline facture and it's happened way before osteoporosis detected...
being honest general physician was not even able to tell me that I am suffering from a disease called osteoporosis... they were cueless...
Sorry to hear about your suffering. I too know a few people (friends and acquaintances) who got osteoporotic in their early 20s. I hope you feel better.
I was just stating that it takes weeks from the actual point of hair-line fracture to the fracture to actually be visible in a X-Ray as the fracture line is very miniscule and it is visible in X-Ray only after callus formation occurs.
