Salman: "I wish I was obsessed with Bigg Boss"

This line was really hilarious to me.

This guy is out here charging an ungodly obscene amount per episode, and he just walks in with the producer walking him through via his earpiece, barely shows any interest in anything, (except that big jar of biscuits), gives us reason to think he doesn't even watch the episodes, and openly acknowledges that he isn't even that into it. 🤣 He also openly discusses (in interviews and on the BB stage) that he keeps getting pulled back in to the show because the show just keeps offering him ridiculous amounts of money that can't be rejected rationally. Plus, its a way to connect with fans, who have now become so used to Salman hosting this every year since 9 years.

Problem is - he's such a gigantic star that the show is now stuck with him. If he is replaced, the TRP might take a giant dip (which ensures that the channel will never let him leave 😆), but I think the show could be massively improved in quality with a different host.

Also, another problem - quality might improve but status would dip waaaay down. BB is such a cheap show (promoting fights, actively disclosing people's dirty personal secrets, creating tasks designed to provoke responses, cutting creepy & misleading promos, etc.) that the only thing stopping it from being compared to Splitsvilla-type league is Salman's presence, which automatically makes the show feel big.

So, weirdly, the show is stuck with him and he is stuck with the show.

Both would improve separating ways, but the losses would be too much! 🤣
