I agree. Paras deserved a bashing now more than EVER before. Hope he gets it, even if its just one quick segment in the middle of celebrations about the high ratings. This was a really big thing, and Salman needs to address it.

I agree with this.

Years ago, the weekend episodes were all about elimination. During AB's season it was even called 'Desh ka Aadesh' to reflect this focus. Over time, with Salman at the helm, it transformed into a night of having fun, celebrity appearances, comedy skits, and 'justice' being served via Salman's words to the housemates. The eliminations actually became such a small part of it, that now, Salman just announces the elimination as the last thing and then just bounces. No on-stage interview with the eliminated contestant or anything. So the whole gimmick is now Salman unleashing his 'Weekend ka Vaar' on the candidates who were going right and who were going wrong.

If they are going to be so obvious in their bias, then frankly, no need for any of this. They can just have BB announce the eliminations. No need to see Salman and whoever celebs have a film coming out this week eat pani puris and play dumb games which have nothing to do with BB at all!

There’s a decently put together Buzzfeed video on YT on Arshi where she mentions that their WKV shoots used to run a tiring 12 hours- 11 am to 11 pm and none of the HMs who deserved to hear were ever spared by Salman. It seems he used to lecture them on and on and on until he was satisfied and it made no difference even if the HM was crying. So I guess, what needs to be dealt with, does get done so. But we get to watch just 2 hours of the 12 and that’s the channel’s prerogative I suppose.
