To protect Sid. From the very beginning Sid has been aggressive and Salman ne bahut pyar see samjhaya bhi, that it works against him. But Sid simply can't control his aggression n so BB is going out of it's way to not give aggressive tasks which involve Sid n whenever BB gave such tasks, Sid ended up being very aggressive n people, especially girls ended up getting hurt.

So in the rakshas task Sid wasn't made the rakshas as it was bound to be aggressive. In the last to last captaincy, it would have seemed Sid would win easily in the frame task, but that was not to be n Sid became physical. In the present captaincy task, when all d contenders were boys n physical task could have been given, BB did voting n the outcome was obvious. Also BB didn't dare make Shukla sanchalak, though he was the captain, coz sanchalak is the most thankless job and no matter what one does, theres always scope for unfairness coz the decision is made relatively when the task is going on n some audience will find it right and others wrong. So BB was simply protecting Sid from negative criticism that is bound to happen.

Also by making Asim sanchalak, BB wants to keep showing the aggressive side of Asim, but Asim can control his aggression much better than Sid.

Even in the recent LB task Sidharth pushed and cornered Asim with so much force that his head almost banged into one of the mirrors. Asim was lucky that he did not get injured. Makers ignore all this and instead spend all their energies into covering his tracks and cleaning up the raita he failaos.

i agree with you... first time yesterday i felt why Sid is never made sanchalak?

maybe you are right, BB does not want to put Sid in a spot like shefali. I always wait to see Sid as sanchalak to see how fair he can be.

Very well put. 👏

The obvious Sid-centric manipulations are clear - giving him the 'BB ka hero' task, making him the teacher all the girls love, presenting Asim's provocation like it is somehow an equal crime to pushing a guy violently multiple times, etc. But the subtle stuff is really important as well. The choice of sanchalaks, the voting for the captaincy, etc are all ways in which BB is ensuring Sid doesn't get violent. And yet, he STILL finds a way to make himself unlikable, by either taking orders from Paras and forcing them on Asim, or by bitching about his so-called 'little brother' etc. At some point, the showrunners have to realize that it isn't working. Why the hell would you compromise your own show's competitiveness and unpredictability just to make one guy look good, woh bhee a guy who is hellbent on NOT looking likable lol. I'm sure these conversations are happening among the showrunners on a daily basis.

At this point, Sid is a big enough star/player in the game that he will reach the finale just by sheer popularity. So, I think, if the showrunners relax their bias now, it'll be good for everyone involved. Their favorite gets to go to the finals and rake in the ratings, and the game once again feels like its not rigged at the top.

IMO BB's bottom line is moolah for the show and BB looks beyond just a particular season. No one is above the show, neither the Hms nor the host and tht's why I dont believe that BB favors HMs due to some personal closeness. But favoritism is definitely there, but its mostly due to maybe a agreement about HMs going till a certain level or the very popular ones making it to the finale. Undoubtedly Sid will easily make it to the finale, but he has been aggressive way too many times, for which he should have been evicted, but BB cant do that and that's y taking desperate measures to ensure that Sid does not lose control, coz the way he was last week, I don't think BB can justify him if he does it again.

This is the 11th season of Bigg Boss I am watching and this season is the worst in favouritism. It is getting too much now, crossing all the limits. To save themselves, everyone are supposed to become Shuklis. Shukla and Sana can do any manipulation and conveniently get away with it.

It was the same in S7, when Gauahar and Kushal and all those who supported them used to be bashed, and then slowly all started supporting Armaan. Hats off to Gauahar who stood her ground throughout. Same is happening this season. Let's see who stands against Sid in spite of getting bashed.
