The real reason why Shukla made peace with Asim

Ok Shukla doesn’t need people. He is anyways a shoo in for the finals. It is established that he is a straightforward upright guy, who says it like it is. He is the most straight-up person in the show right now. Even if he is getting friendly with Devo (for fun and footage) it is in a straight way in front of everyone. Woh toh muh pe bolta bhi he sabko bula ke lao, promo banate he. He has clarity. He picks his friends and tries to stick by them unless they step on his *oversized ego*

Now let me tell you why I think he made up with Asim TODAY:

- He couldn’t give in and forgive too easily. Otherwise his group members will start taking him lightly. Also if he didn’t give in to Sana easily he couldn’t with Asim either. Apna dabdaba bana ke rakhne ke liye.

- He STILL was under the misconception that he was RIGHT and ASIM was wrong in the fight. But Salman ne clear kiya ki Kesari won his team the task. And Salman heaping praises on Asim was another check that he was right in their fight. Toh abhi lamba kheechne ka koi matlab hi nai banta tha. Especially when Asim pampered his ego aage peeche ghoom ke and indirectly continuously signaling that he wants to be friends again.

The takeaway cannot be that he has an ulterior motive of keeping Asim close. Or its somehow his game. Its not. His ego was coming in the way. And today he dropped it. Kudos Shukla ji. Aise hi ghamand ko khud se door rakho. Aapka ye sabse bada weak point he.

He is NOT that manipulative in a sneaky way. Ki woh Asmin aage na nikal jaaye isliye usko apne paas rakhe. Ya fir woh strong he aur tareef ho gayi isliye. Asim is good friend, he swallowed his “ego” and made up. Good for him.

Asim toh is smitten with Sid and I can see it in his eyes. How emotional he was when Sid hugged it out. Awwww love Asim such a sweetheart. Aur kitna dil jeetaga tu bande. Already kai log fida he tere nature pe. Sweetiecutiepatootipie

Shukla and Asim ka bond genuine he. Dono side se. Asim ke taraf se pyaar thoda zyada lagta he. But Shukla feels for him too. Shukla ne use game ke liye waapas nahi liye. Ye uske nature me he hi nahi itna tedh sochna, and neither does he need to at this juncture given his standing in the house.

Salman validated - Asim was awesome this week. This was enough for Sid to go and hug Asim and patch up. 👍🏼

This is not true...asim was the one who was approaching hi m by giving him suggestions on hairstyle and all ..so he noticed it and hugged him ...becoz both wanted to get back to each other

Yes, Sid should listen to him more and be the bigger person to sort out their misunderstanding.

But when did they ever change loyalties? Ok maybe Asim did when he spoke to Arhaan but he was just angry, he still didn't talk about anything personal though.

Salman ne asim ki galat faymi bhi door kardi ki was not sids fault they lost the task but bcoz kesari stuffed it too damn good. Plus asim was feeling ignored by sid after all both spent really good times together , salman exposing others too helped them both realized that they were being manipulated, so they patched up.... At end of day their friendship stood strong that's what matters.

Lol. Matlab kuch bhi. Salman explicitly praised Khesari and said Asim couldn’t succeed in the task because of that, and not because of what Shukla said who insisted his team had stuffed the tunnel just as well as the other teams and it was Asim who couldn’t do the task properly. Salman in fact cleared out that Asim was right and Shukla’s team strategy of stuffing the tunnel was wrong and inferior to Bahu gang. Matlab it’s fine if you think Shukla Ji is above it all but don’t twist things to your convenience. I would hope that most ardent fans of Sid would also be able to see the truth of things today and most on this forum seem to as well.

Well because they are friends and friends make peace with each other after fights..it's natural.. although Salman directly didn't approach the topic of their fight but he gave them enough hint what went wrong during the task and to clear their misunderstanding..Asim ki insecurities dur ho gayi and Shukla ko bhi pata chal gaya it was not Asim lack of trying due to which they lost..jab misunderstanding clear ho gayi toh jabardasti thodi na ladenge..

Everyone needs people in that house - and Shukla’s no different however much he might say otherwise. He might say bhad mein jao all too often, and that he doesn’t want a group, etc. - but he very much does. Group group ke charche bahut karta hain Shukla - cares about numbers, wants to know what the other group is saying, wants to ensure his group’s “secret cracks” are not communicated across the pond, kicks out people who do open their mouths against his express wishes (I.e. Aarti), eavesdrops on convos, and the list goes on.

Shukla might care about Asim in his own weird way (though it’s debatable) but his ego and sense of superiority overtake all else. See, I don’t think he cares when the other lot point out his wrongdoings - aggression, badtameezi etc - because ek toh they’re anti-him so they’re bound to say so, and he’s always been praised and them bashed on weekends. But this week - his chatta batta Asim was pointing out a lot of stuff - how he never listens, thinks he’s the constant captain, doesn’t care about anyone else, etc. That combined with Sallu not praising Shukla today, told him - IMO - that he might be looking wrong. I don’t think he has the capacity to ever truly believe he could be in the wrong. Yeah they would’ve probably patched up eventually - but the beeline was because Shukla’s as fickle as anyone else.

What’s telling in this whole thing though - is that Asim didn’t bitch about Shukla or say anything derogatory - joh bola muh pe bola, aur sach bola - and respectfully at that. Shukla on the other hand - so rude to Asim, and then says to Aarti, about Asim - “yeh insaan hi galat hain; saath rakhne ke layak nahi”. Says a lot. Asim is far far more invested in this equation (I won’t use the term friendship, because I don’t think it is one) than Shukla is.
