I realised how shows manipulate, when I watched this TV series called Unreal. It was a parody of sorts on the whole The Bachelor/The Bachelorette shows. Manipulation and smart editing is all that is needed to control the narrative.I wonder if these shows are audited?

Sounds intriguing. Will look this up. I've read some books on how it's manipulated behind the scenes. But a show would be cooler.

Contacting happens in other shows too. Like say, Roadies. They all try to build their own gangs and strategize how to go about the game.

But this - knowing who the wildcards are takes the entire fun outta the entries.

After all it's a show, they need content to show people. But they definitely can't be prompting dialogues, actions or reactions. Those are real but they manipulate through editing, tasks, guests & Host, these are scripted.

in music and dance competitions many of them highlight their poverty, yes they are poor but channels use struggles as their trump card.

i think rangu bhai's executives hand over a skeleton script with pointers as to how to go about. This is absolutely needed bcos some participants do not know head nor tail of BB. For the likes of Bahu maybe visual presentations are given till they get the hang of it. There is also a set designer team working full time for tasks, who prints task sheets and gets them in the sitting area. No magic wand unfortunately

To my knowledge the primary contestants know who is on board. There were articles floating about Arhaan and Himanshi so their entry is predetermined. However surprised that Aarti is openly talking about Yuvika.

Yeah. That I've seen far too many times. The struggle stories being juiced out max to make them favour one contestant over the other especially in dance/music shows.

@Bold: I always did wonder how they got the rules of the tasks so quickly. This makes sense. Setting area they arrange and stuff, it's been shown before.

There's also rumours about Ormax and BB setting. Regarding the lists. They do print whoever is the most talked about on SNS. But maybe fudge the details on the top 2 sometimes. Like who is actually gonna count who actually is leading

Polls on twitter say Asim and Shukla have max support. Yet Paras is on the Ormax list, Bhau even but Asim isn't there.

Rashmi and Debo ka eviction was definitely shady. Given how they didn't show their exit also properly. They directly showed them on stage.
