"Fool me once, shame on you

Fool me twice, shame on..."

So, anyone else noticed that during Aarti's discussion regarding Vishal she mentioned that it was ordy predecided he was entering the show? The mutual friend (Yuvika) suggested Vishal and Aarti play together inside. So basically his wildcard entry wasn't such a big surprise. He couldn't enter the show cause NB was being telecast simultaneously on another channel? (my assumption)

It's these little things that show that BB is not at all as organic as they want the viewers to believe. There's very little of reality and much more of whatever narrative they choose to portray.

Himanshi's entry and Sana's premonition before it was another instance.

Sana-Sid ka music ke saath wale promos started after SidNaaz trended.

Any other instances felt like scripted shittee to you? Add on.

I think Vishal was finalized for BB after his hit stint on Nach Baliye (there were articles too about the same). But since NB comes on Star Plus, he wasn't contractually cleared to do BB at that time.

But since he signed BB, he might've talked about it with Prince/Yuvi as they did BB too.. & that's how Arti might have known about him entering the show too as she's friend with Prince/Yuvi.

I don’t think the show is completely scripted. But I definitely think it partially is. They pre decide their top 2 and top 5 at the start of the season and will do most things and editing to make them shine whether as heroes or villains. It’s very rarely that contestants like Asim become popular who weren’t meant to even survive more than a few weeks which creates problems for BB. But the makers are smart enough to twist and turn things in a way that they will be able to paint a favorite in a constant bad light. I don’t know if the contestants are given a script but BB definitely has a storyline that they follow making a few changes here and there based on audience perception.

Yes. But that means all the wildcards are to a certain extent predecided. Like if the people in the house know who is entering then well, it's not really such a big surprise right?

Even Arhaan's entry I think was known.

Yeah. I hold a similar opinion. I said this on the DDT a few weeks ago. Like they're given cues and hints (not the ones we see on WKW) on how they should proceed next. Like NOT SPECIFICS. But like "Ab fight karo, ab patch up karo" etc etc. And deciding the top 2 and editing the narrative to suit them, that's always been there.

But this time it's either shoddy editing or whatever but they're making it more prominent.

The entire cast gets pretty much finalized before the show goes on air, then the makers/creatives decide whom they want to enter the house on 1st day & whom as wildcards. Sometimes celebs drop out as well (like Aamir Ali dropped out in BB11) for that they also have replacement celebs ready too incase if anyone drops out (lesser known celebs like models or MTV stars).

Interesting. I didn't know this. I assumed that first set is sent in. And based on how they're doing, the standbys are sent in.

I realised how shows manipulate, when I watched this TV series called Unreal. It was a parody of sorts on the whole The Bachelor/The Bachelorette shows. Manipulation and smart editing is all that is needed to control the narrative. I wonder if these shows are audited?
