We have a lot of examples in real life about this.

Talent matter the most and Deepak is talented. They way he sung "Husna" and Nusrat sahab few songs, shows how talented he is and I respect talent.

"Jaha chamtakar hai waha Ankit Pandey ka namaskar hai"

And he is not that much bad in looks also, he has average looks with extremely great vocal chords

Even I have supported him many times and will be glad if he wins. It's Deepak or Romil or KV (in any order) for me.

About the voting thing I just feel his voters could be someone who own a mobile but necessarily not be on any social media. Is that possible? Because I think that's how Manveer won. He wasn't popular on social media but he had had a massive fan following right?

He performs and uses his brain the most in tasks without giving up. He is mostly the best performer irrespective of whether he wins or not.

You have written everything and no need to ask. Just answering few points. 😃😛

@Blue: Because sree is a celebrity and some people cant digest the fact that a small town guy is overshadowing them comfortably. Even if they dont feel like that its a case of simple ignorance. The majority audience on IF is metro city /big towns and sophisticated people. Many dont even understand the crude/uncultured language/behaviour of small towns /villages. 😆 Same was the case with Naveen/Jyoti/urvashi . Bihar is like a 3rd world country for a lot of them and they start judging them if they dont behave in a stereotypical manner shown in movies etc. 😆😛 I have seen many people having problem with these contestants calling others Bhaiya / didi . 😆

Another point : Deepak stole Raw poha and sugar and many people made fun of that here. 😆 That's a staple diet for many poor people here. I myself eat in from time to time.

I have to explain so many things to people here. 😆 It will keep happening till there is ignorance about small towns / villages.

And i am not saying these contestants are clean hearted and well behaved. There is a kind of unrealistic feel good environment created about villages by movies/tvs . When they dont see a behaviour that confirms to their stereotype , they start disliking and ultimately hating them.

I can write pages on that difference and how that affects the narrative here.

@Orange: He definitely deserves to win but he wont. The contestant i have supported never won in past 11 years. 😭😆

There is massive massive amounts of people like that. 😆 What matters is how many vote. Manveer winning also had a lot to do with JIo and free 4g launching during that time. WIth jio and almost free internet the whole landscape has changed. I have seen smart phones in hands of daily wage workers too. 😃

So yes deepak may have alot of fans but it depends on how many vote.
