Could not help make this post. Although I have never watched any of KV's serials I cannot comment either on his acting or non acting talent. So BB 12 being the first time I actually got to see him consistently on television I can only pass a judgement based on that. Let me start with the positive first. KV is no doubt a very good looking actor. I am aware of the fact that he has a huge fandom (I am sure deservedly so). When I watch him in BB I almost certainly get this feeling that he is a very good human being. In fact he appears like a lost child in a maze who is desperately trying to find his way out. But unable to.
But having said this I also think that he is perhaps one of the dumbest player to have come into the house. This again I do not mean as a derogatory statement towards him. The game is designed for each individual who is inside there to use his/her mind to go as far as possible. Of course there is a larger script at play but for someone like KV who came into the house with such a huge fan following obviously he was at an advantage. All he needed to do was utilise this advantage and steer it towards a victory.
Far from that KV in fact managed to actually do the opposite. In the beginning he tried to form an alliance with the so called celeb group but at some point he decided to break away. Both were fine. But his mistakes since then cannot be overlooked. No matter how much you deny it the fact is it was only Deepika who was there with him consistently until he threw her under the bus after she had made him the captain. And I think that was the turning point of the game for him. Till then he had managed ok. His relationship with Sree had turned sour by then but he was surviving and managing to look dignified, as at that point he was also being targeted badly by HC but he kept afloat. It was only when Deepika left his side (rightfully so) that he actively turned towards forming mini alliances. I do not agree with the thought that KV was the strategist who broke the so called HC. That was just a coincidence, as that was something he would have desired. But did that coincidence work in his favour or against him is the question?
I would say it worked against him. Somehow KV does not have the courage to play independently or maybe he does not have the confidence. He knew that that he would look stupid if he tried to realign with celeb group, so he took this opportunity. Unfortunately for him after Romil left the group the trio of Surbhi, Deepak and Rohit started played even worse than earlier. Of course any other smart player would realise that being associated with them would not help his image a bit. In fact since he was not actively a part of the dirt' they were doing, he obviously was not there in the footage. So how being a part of this new group was helping him in any way. In fact it was just pulling his game and image down. Of course he should know that none of these people are actually capable of being loyal. How can he expect that Deepak would put him ahead of Urvashi with whom he entered the show as a Jodi and who he had known from before? If Deepak could not be loyal to her then KV never stood a chance. I will not bring Surbhi, Rohit or Somi here, coz it is Deepak for whom KV suddenly has such a soft corner for? Strange that KV thinks this show is about making bonds rather than winning. No problem about the bonding bit too, but for whom are you doing this? A person who is taking you on a huge ride to himself move ahead.
Guess it is too late now. Despite his wife telling him, he does not seem to get it. As I said maybe he is too afraid to play alone. I wish he had not got stuck on this whole mahaanta tag. I believe he takes it too seriously and thinks that can be his USP for the game. Unfortunately the game is about playing it and not being mahaan. Wish him all the best for the future. Think it is a great family. Loved his kids and wife. But sorry KV you failed to impress.
