Um so regarding this chaal chalan business

I just saw the chaal chalan clip. From what I can gauge toxic Deepak meant it in the context of behavior. Generally, people use it in the context of poor moral character. However, Megha was acting out and he pointed chaal chalan i.e. behavior. It would mean moral character had he associated it with her r-ships with the guys in the house.
Contextual meaning matters just as much as semantics. Poor choice of words nevertheless. Yet it doesn't warrant the way Megha lashed out like a psycho, hurling at him, spitting on him, shoving him around. Megha should've given it back to him verbally. Just because Deepak is a repulsive douche you can't justify Megha physically assaulting him. I despised S last year and if H had done that to her I would support S nonetheless, regardless of whether S deserved it.

Verbal instigation doesn't justify physical reaction imo, it's against Bigg Boss rules. Reverse gender roles in the same situation Deepak would be ripped apart. He got a pretty raw deal in this situation. Salman is obviously going to use chaal chalan in the moral context for his sister to suit his agenda. I don't need to know what Deepak or Megha have done in the previous episodes. I am looking at context and the situation in isolation. This is extremely unfair & biased treatment.

Yep, I agree - definitely poor choice of words, but it also seemed to me that he was not speaking of her character. And while two wrongs don't make a right, Megha hasn't a leg to stand on with the amount of stuff she's spouted about Deepak's character and social status etc. Not to mention the maar peet.

But as is the BB norm is such situations, one will bear the brunt of it, and the other who's done worse gets away with a slap on the wrist. Lol Megha is still there despite violence - and Shiv is out. Enough said.

edit out the l word from your post, ayehi WL milgayenge for so called name calling BS.

And I agree with you, Megha over reacted like anything.
And BB/Sallu ne kabhi context ka matlab samjha nahi hai, toh unko toh kiya kehna.

But still Deepak is super annoying and instigating p**ck, who as Sallu said ghar ke bahar hota toh bohut maar khata.

Exactly...IMO, he is a annoying Pakau kinda guy but context matters...he used that word when Megha was behaving aggressively..then he said dekhiye yeh hai inka chal chalan I.e referring the her behavior...he also used chal chalan word for Somi too ..he clearly said chal chalan as in behavior...I understand Megha taking it as character but violent reaction can't be justified...also that fat bully has no right to drag Deepaks family member to bash him. He could have did done that without dragging her sister.

Being a devil's advocate here - Maharani, i think half of fights in Bigg Boss is due to someone taking things or words out of context and making mountain about it. Megha is someone who doesn't let go easily and is super stuck up kind of person. She milked out the whole situation, took lot of footage and this will give her 2 weeks more. Deepak wasn't super smart about it knowing who was in front of him. He said worse things to Jasleen and got away with it most times.
Though both are super annoying but Megha Dhandhe makes Deepak look like an angel when it comes to verbal spatting - Gosh, this lady is something, she is my least favorite contestant.

If people can make a mountain out of a mole for words like "paagal"
Then chal chalan definitely deserves the reaction

I remember Surbhi creating a big hungama over jasleen use of the word "paagal" and she was even sent to jail for that.

Can Megha read deepak's mind that she can understand the context in which he said and whether he meant behavior or character , that too in a heated argument where both are trying to outdo each other.

she will obviously take the context which means character based on the total dislike they have for each other.

Chal chalan always refers to character, I have seen in in Hindi Tv shows, where every single time, the word is used to question the character of a woman.

definitely with Megha on this.

Yeah, ofc I agree. My issue is physical violence, selective treatment and what Salman said. It's very uncool to drag someone's family into it. Salman infuriates me when he tries to teach a lesson by dragging family.

@jasleen: I haven't watched the show or read any updates in 2 months. So taking your word for it. He deserves brickbats and Jasleen's chappal could grace his ass when he's outside the house.

Megha was acting psycho in that episode. She's worse than the one who must not be named.

I didn't say it didn't deserve a reaction. I said physical violence is against the rules.

I can't read Deepak's mind either and seeing enough K serial vamps talk about chaal chalan, Deepak didn't mean character considering what was happening in the situation. It can't be more obvious. Some people say it means conduct some say it is character. I will judge based on context then. Other than that I said it's poor choice of words nonetheless.
