Bharti is 20 years old who lives alone in her house. Her parents died 8 years back. She have her father's money to spend her whole life in comfort. She is alone in this whole world. The only thing which keeps her alive is her love, her love for Karan. She loves him madly.
Karan is 22. He is only son of rich NRI. He studies in Bharti's college. Girl and girl's feelings are nothing for Karan. He likes to play with nice innocent girl's feelings. And he is doing the same with Bharti as well. But Bharti's love is true and she don't know that Karan is that kind of guy because whenever Karan is with her, he behave like he is the most wonderful person on earth.
Armaan is 22 as well. He is Karan's best friend and he is madly in love with Bharti. Armaan is a really sweet guy. He wants to save Bharti from Karan but he knows that Bharti's love is blind and she won't believe him. Armaan don't talk to a lot of people in college and always try to tell Karan that what he is doing with Bharti is wrong. He wears glasses and a lot of people call him a geek in the college but he is not geek he is just and clean hearted man who don't like dressing like other guys or try to behave cool.
Karan believes Armaan with closed eyes. He always shares everything with him.
It's a nice morning and Bharti enter in the college. She saw Karan standing in the corridors.
Bharti: Karan
Karan look at her and smileā¦ Bharti run towards him and hug him
Karan: ohā¦ u r late.. I missed u..
Bharti: really!.. So sweet
Karan: sweet na..
Bharti: yah.. hey I need to go to the lesson.. I am lateā¦ bye
Bharti walk quickly towards her class roomā¦ after Bharti leaves, another girl come to Karan and hug him
Girl: why do we have to hide from Bharti?
Karan: because she thinks that I love her
Girl: u don't?
Karan: well I do but I cant survive my whole life with one girl.. its boring u know..
Girl: and what if someone told her
Karan: she will never believe that person because she is totally blind in my loveā¦. Well u tell me what r u doing tonight
Girl: nothing
Karan: see u thenā¦. Bye babes
He kiss her cheek and the girl leave from thereā¦
Armaan who was noticing all this, he come forward and tried to explain Karan again
Armaan: don't do this.. she is a innocent girl. Why u r playing this double game with her. U have any idea how much it will hurt her when she find out.
Karan: Armaan, u are my friend not hers OK. Why do u care so much about her.
Armaan: because iā¦.i am worried about her
Karan: why?
Armaan: look Karan. U have no idea how much lucky u are. U won't find a girl like her ever in u life. She is the best girl in this world
Karan: why r u saying so many nice things about her. Are u trying to do something.
Armaan: no. I am Armaan. I am not Karan. I know that she love u. and I know what u are trying to do with her. One day u will cry on what u are doing
Karan: stop this lecture dude. I am really hungry. Lest go.
At night, Bharti was sitting in her bed room and she was thinking about Karan. She was thinking that he must be busy because Karan lied to her that he is going to do exam preparation. Bharti call Karan but he was with that girl so he didn't pick the phone.
Bharti was bored so she went out for a walk when she saw Armaan sitting in a park. Bharti walk toward him.
Bharti: hi. U are Armaan right. Karan's friend
Armaan: yah. Hi Bharti. How are u? What are u doing here?
Bharti: I was calling Karan but I think he is busy with studies so I thought I should get a walk. But why are u sitting here alone. U always sit alone. Even in college u don't talk to anyone. Why?
Armaan: well I don't mind talking to people but people don't talk to me. They think that I will talk like a geek because I look like a geek.
Bharti: u are not a geek. Who says that
Armaan: no one says it but I understand. Everything don't have to be said.
Bharti: u are right. Well now I am your friend. You wont sit alone.
Armaan look at Bharti and felt something. He know that he love her. But he also know that she only thinks about Karan. And this thing always make him sad
Armaan: thanks for becoming my friend. I should go now. Bye
Bharti: bye
Armaan: come I will drop u home
Bharti: no I will go own my own.
Armaan: u are a girl and its really late now. And I wont leave my friend alone at this time.
Bharti laugh: OK baba. Let's go
Now Armaan and Bharti were friends so Armaan got to spend time with Bharti. Karan was kept on with his game.
Karan always plays with innocent girls and takes advantage of them. Now he was planning to do the same with Bharti. He decided that he will take her on a romantic date in a hotel room. Take advantage of her and then he will dump her. But Armaan find out about his plan. Armaan know that only he can save Bharti now.
On the date night, Armaan locked Karan in his room and disconnect his phone as well so that he won't be able to get to Bharti and won't harm her.
On the other hand Bharti was waiting for Karan but he didn't come. She wait whole night for him and in the morning she went back home. She waited for long but she was still not angry with him. She was still thinking that he must be stuck somewhere that's why he couldn't come. On the other hand Karan couldn't find out who locked him in the room.
Armaan knew that this is the time when Bharti should know about Karan.
One night, Karan made a plan of going out with another girl and Armaan made a plan so that Bharti will find out everything. While Karan was getting ready for the date, Armaan took his phone and text Bharti as Karan to meet him. He gave the same place where Karan was going with that girl. When Bharti got there, she saw Karan with that girl, Bharti was totally shocked and she couldn't believe on her eyes. Today her blind love and her unlimited trust on Karan fell from her eyes in tears.
She didn't sad anything to Karan but Karan saw her and he knew that his game is over but he didn't try to explain anything as well. Both of them didn't said anything to each other and Bharti slowly walk out from the hotel.
She still couldn't believe on her eyes. She was totally broken. She didn't know if she should cry or notā¦ she keep walking but she didn't know that Armaan was fallowing her. Armaan was fallowing her because he know that she is hurt and she might do something to harm herself.
After that Bharti stop going to the college. She locked herself in her house forever. She gets money from her dad's business.
Its 25th September: Bharti's birthday.
Even today Bharti was sad and alone in her house. Today she got 21 years old.
She was sitting in her room and spending this day like a normal day when Armaan enter in her room. Bharti was shocked to see him.
Bharti: Armaan?... what are you doing here?
Armaan: well you forgot me but I didn't.
Bharti: there is nothing like that Armaan.
Armaan: really?... then why you didn't took any of my callsā¦
Bharti look down and turn her face.
Armaan: Bhartiā¦ I know you didn't talk to me in these days because I am Karan's friendā¦ but I am your friend as well naā¦
Bharti was still quite and her eyes were full of tears.
Armaan: Bhartiā¦ who are you crying forā¦ that guyā¦ who didn't know what you r.. he didn't know how lucky he was that you loved himā¦. Its his bad luck that he couldn't get youā¦ he didn't understand what ur love is. And its your good luck that you are saved.
Bharti with tears felling on her cheek: why are you saying all this Armaanā¦ you are also his friend right?.... what are you doing here.. Go to your friend.
Armaan: he is not my friend anymore.
Bharti turn and look at Armaan
Armaan: yahā¦ I don't want to be friend of such a guy who don't know the respect of women.
Bharti: ohā¦
She lower her eyes again and turnā¦. Armaan walk up to her and stood next to her.
Armaan: lets go Bharti
Bharti: where?
Armaan: I want to take my friend somewhere.
Bharti: I am not in the mood.
Armaan: how many days are you going to spend in this roomā¦ Bharti come out of thisā¦ you will have to do thisā¦. You have a long life to liveā¦ you cant live like thisā¦ don't make things hard for yourself.
Bharti: who do I have to live for Armaanā¦ no oneā¦ do I have anyone to live for.
Armaan: I am here for youā¦
Bharti look at him with shocked expiration.
Armaan: give me a chance to prove myself a good friendā¦ a friend you can trustā¦. Bharti.. u are my first friendā¦ otherwise everyone elas thinks that I am a geek
Bharti: no u are not a geek
Armaan: come with me na
Bharti: no Armaan
Armaan become sad: I understandā¦ I am not good enough to be a friend you can go out withā¦
He turn to leave.
Bharti: waitā¦ who said thatā¦ I am coming
Armaan become happy and a big smile appear on his face.
Armaan: I am waiting for youā¦
Bharti: okā¦.
She got ready and went downstairs. Both of them left in armaan's carā¦ Armaan took Bharti to a place. Bharti was quite confuse at what Armaan was doing.
Bharti: which place is this..
It was a bark place and she could see nothingā¦. It was top of a hillā¦ it was night that's why it was really darkā¦. Armaan hold Bharti's hand so she won't fellā¦
Both of them start walking when they say a table lighted with candles and a big cake on itā¦ Bharti look at Armaan.
Armaan sing: happy birthday to uā¦ happy birthday to uā¦ happy birthday dear Bharti.. happy birthday to uā¦.
Bharti was shockedā¦ she keep looking at Armaan.
Bharti: how do u know that?
Armaan: I know itā¦ come..
It was not a big celebration or a very decorated placeā¦. Just one table which have enough candles for lightā¦ but the cake was really beautiful with Bharti's name on itā¦.
Bharti: you did all this for me..
Armaan: noā¦ I did this for that beautiful smile on your faceā¦
Tears appear in Bharti's eyes.
Armaan: I said smile.. not tearsā¦ I hate tearsā¦
Sweet wide smile appear on her face and she didnt let the tears fellā¦
Armaan: that's what I wantā¦ lets cut the cakeā¦
Armaan gave Bharti the knife and she cut the cakeā¦. Armaan clapped and sang birthday song. Bharti feed him piece of cakeā¦
Armaan: I have a gift for uā¦
He pull out a hand made flower necklaceā¦
Armaan: I am not good in giving gifts to girlsā¦ I thought a lotā¦ but then I thought that this will be a good gift to bring your smile back.
Bharti took the necklaceā¦.
Bharti: you are a very sweet person Armaan..
Armaan (blushing and looking down): thanks
Bharti: why are you blushing?
Armaan: because this is the first time a girl call me 'sweet' š³
Bharti start laughingā¦. Armaan look at her and start smilingā¦ he was happy to see Bharti smiling again.
Both of them sit on the rock and start looking down the hillā¦ the city was looking really beautiful.
Bharti: thanks a lot Armaanā¦. Thanks for everything
Armaan: don't say thanksā¦. I did all this for myselfā¦
Bharti: what?
Armaan: yahā¦ I wanted to spend some time with you
Bharti smile again but this time tears appear in her eyes...
Bharti: the man i love... he didn't care about me or my feelings but u are only a friend.. but u really care about me, my tears and my smile... i don't deserve this... whenever i love someone or something, i lost it...
Armaan: u deserve everything in this world... u deserve all the happiness in this world... let them come near you... let them come in ur life...
Bharti look at him... she got really emotional after hearing this from Armaan... she couldn't stop her self and hug Armaan.... Armaan knew that she is really upset... he put his arms around Bharti and move his hand slowly at her back to calm her down.... today Bharti cried as much as she wanted and Armaan let her cry... when she felt a bit batter she broke the hug and look down...
Bharti: sorry... wo..main
Armaan: don't say sorry... its the first time a girl hugged mešš³
Bharti start laughing
Bharti: u are too cute (pulling his cheek)
She start looking down the hill again but was still in his dream land.... he couldn't believe that the girl he love, just hugged herš³š³... he was very happy and Bharti was feeling lighter as well....
They sit there for a little while then both of them decided to go back.... Armaan drop Bharti home and she ask him to come in for a coffee.... both of them made coffee together and get to know each other more closely.
Few years past and Bharti was very comfortable with Armaan now. they were very very good friends now.
She was liking his cuteness and the way he made her feel spatial.
One day Armaan came to meet Bharti. He was looking nervous. He didn't say 'hi' or 'hello'. He straight way start.
Armaan: Bharti i want to say something.
Bharti: hi Armaan.
Armaan: i don't have time for that
Bharti: what's wrong?
Armaan: marry me.
Bharti (shocked): what?...
Armaan: u didn't get it... ok i will say it again...marry me š³š
Bharti: Do u know what u are saying?
Armaan: yah.. i practice all night... i wanted to say it before i get too nervousā¦
Bharti: Armaan!
Armaan: please don't say 'no'ā¦ if you don't want to marry just walk awayā¦ But don't say 'no'
Bharti: Armaanā¦ I am marring someoneā¦
Armaan was totally shocked and he just can't believe on what he heard.
Bharti: I am sorry Armaanā¦. I never told you about Angatā¦ I know it is my mistakeā¦
Armaan (heart broken): you did made a mistake Bhartiā¦.. a very big mistakeā¦ you broke my heart..
Bharti: I was going to tell u Armaan
Armaan (shouts): when?... when Bharti?... (lower his voice) why I am shouting at you.. who am I?... no one..
Bharti (tears in her eyes): don't say that Armaanā¦ u are my best friendā¦ you means a lot to me.. ur friendship is world to me Armaan.
Armaan: reallyā¦ that's why you never told me about Angatā¦. I didn't hide anything from u Bharti. Apart from the factā¦ that I love uā¦.
Bharti shocked: why you never told me Armaanā¦
Armaan: because I was thinking that its not the timeā¦ but I didn't knew that you are hiding something as well.
Bharti didn't know what to sayā¦ she know that she hurt Armaan by not telling him that she found someone. Armaan leave from there and Bharti couldn't stop himā¦ after that Armaan didn't meet Bharti againā¦ Bharti get busy in her wedding preparations but she keep trying to contact Armaan but Armaan didn't responseā¦. Bharti was realising that Armaan is not only her friendā¦ he is more then that to her nowā¦ but it was too late and she was helplessā¦ she decided to ignore the other feelings for Armaan. She was trying to ignore that she love himā¦. She just want to think about him as a friend
And the day of Bharti's marriage came. Today Bharti was missing Armaan. She tried to call him but he still didn't respond. With the sad face, Bharti made her way to the car. She was going to a 'mandir'ā¦ they were getting marry in a 'mandir'ā¦. Bharti got there before Angatā¦. She wait there for Angat but he didn't cameā¦ after a while she got the news that Angat die in an accidentā¦.
Bharti was totally brokenā¦she was not able to understand why god is so unfair with herā¦. She was standing there like a statueā¦ after few seconds she start walking slowlyā¦ she came out of the 'mandir' and start walking lifelessly on the roadā¦ she didn't know that she is walking in the middle of the road. She didn't realise that a car in full speed is coming towards herā¦ the car was getting closer and closer but Bharti was not in her sense. The car was just few inches away from her when someone hold her hand and pull her to a sideā¦
It was Armaan. He got so scared that he hug Bharti tightlyā¦
Armaan: what are you doing Bhartiā¦ what if something happed to youā¦. I would die with out uā¦
Bharti was still standing lifelessly... Armaan remember that Bharti is getting marry with Angat and she don't belong to himā¦ he broke the hug and look at Bharti's bridal dressā¦ Armaan felt bad to see her in bridal dress.. he understood that she is getting marry todayā¦.
Armaan sadly: its your wedding day todayā¦ and what if that car hits youā¦
Bharti was still not respondingā¦
Armaan: you are looking beautiful Bhartiā¦ as alwaysā¦ u are looking out of the worldā¦ Angat is very luckyā¦
Bharti look up at Armaan's face and tears fall from her eyesā¦ Armaan got worried to see her upsetā¦
Armaan: what happed Bharti?... why are you cryingā¦. What's wrong Bharti?
More tear fall from her eyes, she hug Armaan and start crying loudlyā¦
Armaan put his hands around her and got even worried that what's wrong with her.
He ask her again and then Bharti told him about what happened with Angatā¦ Armaan tried to calm her down and took her inside the 'mandir' againā¦ he give her some water to drinkā¦ Bharti looked at Armaan and remember what she did with himā¦
Bharti: I did so bad with you Armaanā¦ I broke your heart.. but you are still with meā¦ you still care about meā¦ you are still worried about my tearsā¦ why Armaan?
Armaan: because I love uā¦. from the bottom of my heartā¦.
And I always be there with youā¦. My love is true and pure that's why i cant stop myselfā¦ š³
Bharti's eyes were full of tears
Armaan: don't cryā¦ I cant see tears in ur eyes
Bharti: I am sorry armaanā¦ will u ever be able to forgive me?
Armaan: yahā¦ but on one conditionā¦
Bharti: what?
Armaan: you will have to marry meā¦ todayā¦ in this 'mandir'ā¦. Will u do that?š³
Bharti think for a minute but all came front of her eyes was all her sweet moments with armaanā¦
Bharti with a smile: yahā¦ I will
Armaan smile as well and both of them got marry in that same 'mandir' at the same dayā¦.
And they live happily ever after
