I've been watching Bhaskar Bharti for a while now, and i just have to say that this show seems soo real!
Like today's episode, when bharti stands up for a girl at a dukaan who was trying to buy a box of pads but the guys behind her made her shy and they kept bugging her. She tells the guys off and says there's nothing to be shy about, period's are a gift from god & that the world would be nothing w/o women :P

FINALLY! Some reality is shown! I mean, who talks about these things on INDIAN TV?
i wish all shows showed at least a bit of real every day life things

That was a good scene, no doubt. I also think that scene was shown cuz that brand of sanitary napkins is a sponsor of this show....LOL....but nevertheless it was WELL placed product placement......Given the unconventional nature of the title character i.e. Bhaskar/Bharti.....this was a good way to send a message out to sexist ppl in society and to promote that product at the same time ;-)

thats true but clearly they were advertising the brand as they are having this stay free contest where bharti was doing a promotion for it
but i really liked the dialogue!and it was real for sure but i can't say everything is real in this show..

It was definately advertizing, but I love how it was shown realistically and not like a random 'out of nowhere scene' that usually is shown in all shows.
I love how the scene was SO powerful in just a few words. They way Bharti stood up for that girl. You know, BB should be used as an example for an AMAZING show. It is so real, and I finally feel that Indian television is breaking free from the cliched trends when I watch this show.
