Also, I wanted to point out the uncanny resemblance of the plot in your and my story at this point

I mean the JB- Pratap-DB-Dhaman angle is same, Pratap repenting, JB encouraging, Pratap is hurt that his Chotimaa did this-- its too similar

I was shocked how two different stories poles apart by different people can have the same plot at some point of time

Sometimes the resemblance is there but the treatment is what that makes a story unique
Your story set in the modern era brings out the same thing which I have shown in the historical era
and its an awesome thing to read the same plot set in two different time zones well atleast I find that interesting
