hi guys,
I was reading this post, & noticed some of the points mentioned that CV's are not portraying the characters properly, & twisting historic facts. Well guys this is not the first time.
For eg: When they showed the second battle of Panipat between Akbar & Hemraj VIkramaditya in which Mughals emerges victorious, Its true Mughals win the battle, but they showed Akbar killing Hemraj personally, where as the fact is, it is Bairam Khan who kills Hemraj in front of Akbar, who at that time was just 11yrs old.
Then they showed Akbar Meeting Pratap & both becoming thick friends even without knowing each others identity. I don't remember reading any History book which says Akbar meets Pratap. Yes both were enemies & both dream of killing other. But the fact is both Pratap & Akbar never met each other in person even once. There is no record which backs that.
Then they show Akbar meeting a Fakeer who tells Akbar that if he ever fought Pratap in person in a battle filed then Pratap will kill him. They even showed Pratap daring Akbar for a one on one fight during siege of Chithod & Akbar not responding because he was afraid of getting killed by Pratap. Its true that Akbar never led his Army in person to battle. Yes he used to come to battlefield & camp at a distance to coordinate the operations but never took active part. Not only Akbar but none of the mughal emperors did it. Yes Jehangir, Shah Jehan & Aurangzeb they all led armies when they were princes. but none of them led armies during their respective terms as Emperors.
The CV's have twisted facts & in some cases even shuffled times according to there convenience.
Now a days it is trend to dramatize every thing, the central character is shown like avatar of god on earth & other side characters as nothing & negative characters as demons. In this case CV's have to know it is not fiction but History & they have to stick to facts.
Now lets see how they show Coronation of Maharana Pratap, Battle of Haldi Ghati etc.
