Sur Darling!!
This was awesome!! πππ
I loved how they made up after the fight π³π³
Pehle we got to see Pratap feeling guilty and then Ajab feeling guilty... They are too cute!!! Inko kaala tika lagaa do, abhi se!
After all, Pratap ki engagement ki baat ho rahi hai βΊοΈ
Hayye I can't wait to see how he speaks to Ajab about this
And JB is coming to meet Ajab and HB!! ππ
She's an awesome mom!! The moment she realised that her son might be afraid of getting into a relationship because of her failed marriage, she immediately stepped in - to make him see the truth!! πππ
I feel really bad for her though ππ The scene between her and Pratap was so heart-touching - I hope she gets her happiness too ππ³
And now she's going to meet Ajab - I'm sure she's going to help them come together! π³π³
I hope we get to see some beautiful PrAja scenes in the next update! And Phool and Akki actually got together!! βοΈβοΈ

Hello Prajapatis, here are two chapters together, hope you enjoy both! lEAVE lOVE π Let's see if the misunderstandings get cleared or not...
CHAPTER SEVEN:
Jaivanta walked in to the simple but well decorated living room of the Punwar House. Ajabde's heart was in her mouth as she saw Jaivanta Mausi sit down, looking royal in her blue saree, while her mom served tea.
" Aree Ajab beta come sit with me. Why are you standing there?" Jaivanta patted the empty place beside her on the couch. Ajabde walked there, a little awkward, in her tee shirt and pajamas.
" Ji Mausi..."
" Aree dekho na Jaivanta, she seems to be coming down with something. She is not eating properly, talking so less, feeling feverish. All weekend she was confined to the bedroom." Hansa started worried.
" Mom!" Ajabde stopped her.
"Looks like everyone is falling ill in this weather. Pratap too is not eating or sleeping properly." Jaivanta looked at Ajab as worry swept across her face. She continued, " Hansa, do you mind if I talk to Ajabde alone?"
" Not at all, I will be in my room, But don't leave, you will have lunch with us."
As Hansa left, Ajabde was still nervous, rubbing her cold hands together, staring at nothing in particular, on the floor.
" Ajab." Jaivanta's call made her look up. " I need to talk to you about something."
" Yes Mausi ji."
" The reason am here is because I feel you are matured enough for this conversation and this is the right time for it." Her heart pounded scared and anticipating as Jaivanta continued. " And also. Pratap..." His name made her feel warm on her cheeks . " He is a little immature, on these..."
" Mausi, I am not getting..."
" He doesn't have many friends Ajabde. He might not appear so, but he really doesn't. And he is scared. Of any kind of attachments... The reason am telling you this is because I saw him comfortable and opening up to you like with no one before. So am here to tell you, if he is ever rude or... It's not him, it's not who he is... "
" Mausi... I Understand that." She cut Jaivanta who smiled at her.
" What else do you understand Ajab?" The question made her heart skip a beat and the smile disappeared.
" Ji?" She looked away.
" Something tells me you know him like I do, you know him more than he knows himself."
" Mausi... I..."
Jaivanta grabbed her cold hands as she looked up.
" Ajab, he might never be able to say what you want to hear." Her eyes widened as Jaivanta looked worried. " Don't think that he doesn't want to... it's just that..."
" Mausi?" Ajabde looked up exclaiming. Jaivanta cupped her face and smiled.
" Am here to ask something from you."
" Mausi I..."
"Promise me that you will always be the happiness in his life; promise me you will always be with him. I know you both are very young, and people change as they grow older. But I also know that the only time I see him happy is when he is with you, Promise me to be there when he needs someone Ajab, he is very lonely, all because of me."
Ajabde held Jaivanta's hand as she sobbed. " Mausi, it's not because of you. It's because he thinks he is not cared for, not loved or ... Mausi, I promise you, I will try my best to give you your son back. I will..."
" Ajab. " Jaivanta cut her. " Am here because... " She stopped. " I think you should call Hansa for this."
Hansa stared clueless at her friend and daughter, both seemed to have cried, and looked grim.
" Hansa, you know it's a tradition of the Sisodia clan to get engaged at eighteen."
" Aree haan, you also got engaged at eighteen and married at nineteen." Hansa smiled as Ajabde's eyes widened.
" Mom I... should go check on..." She got up to leave.
" No you need to stay." Jaivanta cut her as she stood transfixed to her spot.
" Haan toh Jaivanta..."
" Hansa, Pratap is turning 18 in two months, and traditionally I should be the one looking for a bride for him."
" Aree aj kal ke bacche..."
" He has agreed to the tradition." Jaivanta smiled. " And he has also stated his choice."
" His choice?" Hansa was a little surprised.
" His choice and mine. Even if he said no I would have..."
" Who is the lucky girl?"Hansa smiled.
Ajab was slowly turning red, she seemed to be in some kind of a trance as her heart beat and her stomach felt funny.
" Hansa." Jaivanta held her hand. " I want your Ajabde for my Pratap."
" Kya??" Hansa asked surprised as Ajabde ran out of the room and ran upstairs to her bedroom and shut the door. She sat down on the floor not believing what just happened. Jaivanta's words rang in her ears... His choice and mine. A smile appeared as she sat hugging her knees then hid her face with her hands.
" Ajabde! Ajab! Mausi jaa rahi hai." Was a call from downstairs. She had served the mothers lunch as they relived some childhood memories together. Jaivanta had brought a pair of Bangles with her as Shagun for Ajabde. She knew Hansa won't oppose to Pratap. Now Ajab was in those bangles, busy cleaning her room, lost in thoughts. How would she talk to Pratap? He didn't know his Maa sa was here. If he asked why...
She walked downstairs, as Jaivanta hugged her.
" Pratap aega shayed." Jaivanta spoke to Hansa but Ajab knew it was for her.
" Usko batana maat main ayii thi" She said to Ajab.
" Ji Mausi."
" Mausi nahi."
" Ji?"
" Maasa." Jaivanta left Ajabde pink and blushing.
CHAPTER EIGHT:
After school he was not sure if he should go to her place or not. He hung around Rohan and Phool until Akki arrived to take Phool home.
" Isko kya hua?" He asked as Rohan and Phool stared at each other with a smile and Pratap looked away.
"Actually, they had their first fight!" Phool giggled.
" Who?"Akki was clueless.
" Pratap and Ajab."
"Ohh... Kya? Matlab yeh dono..."
" Not yet!" Rohan stopped him.
"Stop it guys, am going home."Pratap spoke up.
" Really? You should go see her once!" Phool suggested.
" Yes you should," Akki and Rohan agreed.
" Okay am going."He nodded as his car arrived.
" Hello Aunty." Phool called someone. "Mission successful."
He arrived at her place. Hansa welcomed him quite casually and informed that Ajabde was upstairs resting. Then she got busy in a call, as he walked up the stairs.
"He's here!" She giggled, " I have told Ram and he is more than happy."
" Udai is happy too that he has found himself a girl." Came the familiar voice in the phone.
" Lets plan to meet soon"
" Yes we have to Hansa, so much work and so little time!"
Ajabde sat on her windowsill lost in her thoughts. Her skirt and hair blew in the wind carelessly. What she felt about him was love, she knew it, she thought he knew it but will they ever talk of it? Or things will go unsaid forever. Yes they were just 17 years old, they had all the time in the world but will it be too late? What if he doesn't want all this love stuff? He came to the room, his footsteps made her sit up.
" You?" She asked in a low voice, her eyes wide in surprise. He gathered his courage to walk up to her and feel her forehead.
" Where's your fever? You don't have any." His voice was plain.
" Yes I had medicines this morning." She looked away uneasy.
" You could have come to school."
" Why? What did I miss?" She tried to smile a little.
" I missed you." Her heart skipped a beat as she looked into his eyes. He meant every word.
" Pratap ... I ..."
" Let me talk first... Whatever I said about Love that day..." He paused to think how he should put it.
" Jaivanta Mausi came today." Now he was in shock. " Maa sa? Why?" He dreaded what she might have told Ajabde.
" She came to talk to me, about you."
" What about me?" Damn it Maa sa, I was going to...
" What scares you the most..." She looked away. " I didn't know you told her what we talked of..." She turned away.
" I didn't say anything; she assumed I fought with you." He defended himself.
" I know. She told me what else you told her. "His heart skipped a beat.
"Ajab... I..." He continued uneasy, " I don't know what to say... I have never... before you... "
He couldn't put it right. She smiled at him as he looked away narrowing his brows, his face still in confusion.
" You know what your Ma sa gave me?" There was a child like enthusiasm in her question.
He stopped. " What?"He looked up at her twinkling eyes.
She held out her hand. Her wrists he noticed had his mother's favorite bangles, carved with gold and diamonds.
" This!"
He remembered when his father had bought that for his mother in their anniversary, back when they used to fight less. She had kept it away saying " I will give this to the girl I will choose for my son."
He stared at her outstretched hand. " Ajab... these..."
Ajabde ignored his glances," I told you they still love each other, you just need to find out where the misunderstandings lie."
" Maybe we can find it together, and you can help me solve this problem."
" Maybe we can, but we have another problem." Ajabde replied, with a faint smile that made Pratap skip a heartbeat.
" What?" He asked in surprise.
" Mr. Pratap Singh, you still have not told me what brought you here, apart from my fever..." Her tone was teasing.
" And apart from the fact that I missed you all day?" He pulled her by the hand, closer.
" Yes..." She looked at him with a smile her eyes widened.
" Well" He acted like he was thinking, "I forgot what I was going to say..." He got an inch closer.
" Okay, when you remember you come back! Bye!" Ajabde let go of his hands and turned around to leave the room. He held her back by the wrist.
" You told me one day, someday, someone will love me more than I love myself..."
She waited as her heart beat increased, eyes closed.
" Am glad I found that someone in you." He blurted out, in a choked voice. "And I promise I will be nothing like my father."
She turned around, eyes filled in happy tears.
"I know am a bit like him, I can't tell what I feel, I get angry easily, but am not him, I won't hurt you..."
She stopped his speech with her hand, " I know that!"
He smiled at her and held both her hands again, " I know we only know each other for two months but..."
" Sometimes that is like eternity!" She completed his thought. He hugged her in joy. She hugged him back.
" By the way" He released her from the embrace " You know it's my family tradition..."
" To get engaged at eighteen... I know, I heard."
" I will get you a ring, diamond or platinum or both?" He wiped away her tears.
" Just you... " Ajabde smiled. " And no matter how hard you try am not gettin married soon!"
" Accha why?"He frowned.
" There is still a lot to do, first, find out your dad's problem!" Ajabde suggested, and Pratap nodded.
" Mission Parents!"
He was about to leave when he turned back towards her...
" What happened?"She asked a little surprised.
" I love you Ajabde Punwar. I really do, and this is probably the only time I am being able to say this out loud." he said without a fumble, his eyes on hers, then he hurried out as if he would miss a train!
Before she could react he was gone. She ran to the balcony to watch him go, as his car drove away. She looked at the Bangles and smiled, they were a promise of her happy future... mostly his.
She sat down and created a whatsapp group with Pratap, Akki, Phool, and herself and named it " Mission Parents." They had to act soon, at least before the engagement due in two months.
