Title: Alliances can break not the Dora/thread of Rakshabandhan!

So start with the not so smart rajputs walking out of the court breaking the short lived alliance! - Pratap needs to be smarter! TV has always shown villains to be smarter and quicker when it comes to things, they always show the heroes as dumbos! and this situation is no different!! haha! but seriously i wanted to pull off JM and RM's mooche and shove them into their mouths!!

Rakshabandhan ka pavitra parv- Rakshbandhan is so pure, non religious, I dont understand why all indians dont celebrate it, it has no religious element! the love between a brother and sister is sacred and crosses all cultures yet this holiday is not celebrated by all, we all celebrate mother's day or valentine's day but why not Rakshabandhan? we cant make this a global holiday? well anyways back to the story, all the ladies prep for Rakhi and Ajabdeh remembers Patta, that was actually really sweet, he has passed but I really liked that they showed that!

DB again covering- she is again covering for her son, even though he not dudh ka dhula!! DB is a smart lady she should know that what ever goes wrong in the mahal should be because of JM and RM!!!

Durgavati comes to tie a rakhi on Pratap and they promise each other that they will help each other in the time of need! That was nice of them to show, so all is not gone in vain!

Rakhi aka Dora ka maan- Rajputs however egoistic and full of pride may they be, they respect the rakhi and will honour that promise to the sister! I have said this before I think, that in Rajput culture, they say, doli wapis jaa sakti hai, dora nahi, meaning that a bride's doli can be sent back without the marriage taking place but when a rajput receives a dora or rakhi, it is never sent back, it is worn and its promise that goes with it, is honoured!

Rakhi in marwari and mewari cultures is very important, the sister is suppose to come to the brother's home from her home but if she cant come alone, or there is no one to bring her, than the brother will go and bring her for rakhi, such is the importance of the holiday! Even if they are cousin sisters, the brothers willl honour their rakhis and ask them to come his home!

precap- durgavati's sister is kidnaped and Pratap finds out about it!

ok so you all must have heard that Phool is coming back and just like AJabdeh she will be a warrior woman, whats with that theme! not all women are warriors, some are warriors at heart, they dont need a sword to rule, and I think Phool has that command as we all remember her tevars! lol! but will be looking forward to her entry!! so maybe she will be seen when pratap goes to rescue Durgavati's sister?

well you all have a lovely weekend!

Hi Rati
I saw the epi and lived the rakhi part especially when they showed Patta's flashback gosh I miss him. The court room drama was a drag for me because we saw that yesterday and I was like pratap suddenly get your brains back from wherever they are holidaying
Durgawati tying rakhi to Pratap was good and we'll see brother sister duo fight mughals to get back her younger sister

Phool's re entry track is something am not so sure about like 50% am excited and other half is like they are gonna bring the typical drama back. I hope they show how Akbar proposes marriage alliance with Marwar and then pratap phool wedding takes place. As far as her warrior mode goes I read that princesses were given lessons on sword fighting and stuff so they can protect themselves but a full fledged warrior well that does not suit Phool's character I feel personally

Rakhi the second most fav festival of mine (first being Diwali cuz it falls near my birthday and I get tons of goodies). You know in history we learnt how Tagore celebrated Rakhi in Bengal when talks of partition came up since then I felthink that this is one festival everyone should celebrate but thanks to the political scenario and media's thirst for TRPs and greed for money everything has gone the opposite way. I hope in three future we all celebrate it without any bias

Wish you a very happy Rakhi Rati hope you keep enlightening us with more facts and knowledge

Hi Garima!

will be nice to see the bro-sis duo fight together!

yea princesses learned but Phool is a diva who needs her dresses and jewelry in line, not swords! her word is everyone's command, she can get her way without the sword lol

yup politics was made to divide people! the same people who celebrate valentine's day can celebrate Rakshabandhan, its the same but more pure!

I wish you a very happy Rakhi!! awww you are too kind!

I'm back 😆 yay! Lol.
The only scenes I liked were the Raksha Bhandhan scenes. Loved how the showed the emotional connection and meaning of such a pure bond of brother and sister celebration. Ajabde thinking about Patta was poignant. DB knows his brother is trouble hence the vow she asked of him to always be on Pratap's side, but RM is a every ready to strike. JM is his usual self, jealous of playing second fiddle to Pratap.
Chaand missing her man already? Her love story ends before it has begun, considering the guests are leaving today 😆. Wonder if this track continues somehow.
Yup Phool is coming. Flashbacks of her was shown. More drama to come. Hehe. Let's see what's in store for us 😃.
Rest of the scenes were blah. Wish they brought Bhago. Miss her presence when I see Chakrapani.

I agree with your sentiments that Rakhi is one festival that should be celebrated by all. I can't wait till Saturday when I wish my brother. Your write up on it was on point! 👍🏼

Have a lovely weekend 🤗. Be good 😉

Patta's flashback 😭 I miss him badly!
I liked how Chaand told Jaggu that the better Rakhi is for Dadabhai 😆 it was nice to see Jaggu feel insulted!
Rani Durgavati tying a Rakhi to Pratap and they making promises to each other was also nicely shown 😛
