CHAPTER 16
She couldn't understand this!
She was scared and confused..she realized the reason why her dad didn't want her to become a CID officer apart from the fact that she was a 'timid' girl incapable of doing good things.
She didn't know why but she was sure that her dad did have a LOT to do with this...things starting fitting into place when she remembered her father's weird behaviour, constant outings and everything which was different from earlier times...
She consoled herself and thought for a while. She then made a decision...she wouldn't leave her house... so that she could keep an eye on her father and hopefully get him and the criminals caught very soon...it was difficult..she knew, but then she also knew her duties as a responsible citizen as well as a CID officer..
The first rule in such jobs was that you could just Not get emotional..you Have to keep your duty above everything..even your family..
She needed to talk about all this to someone...not her mom, as that would only worry her mom more ..
And then she thought of going to Pratap...he would definitely understand..and also guide her..
She took her purse and put some money and essentials in and quietly tried to move out...
She met her mom, who obviously looked worried and sad...
Mom asked
'Where are you going Ajabde?? Tell me? Are you actually leaving...please don't darling!'
'No mom! Chill! I'm not leaving you and going! I'm just going out for sometime..i return soon..don't worry!'
'Going out at this time? Where beta?'
'To Pratap's house..my boss, remember?'
'But why?'
'Mom!!!! Subho is not at home and I need to talk to someone..please understand!'
'Ok Beta! Take care..and call me when you reach and also when you leave...'
Ajabde smiled at her mother's concern for her and said
'Don't worry mom. If somebody dares to try to do something to me..I'll give them a hard time...I'm excellent at defends you see!'
'Ya Ya' smiled Hansa
Ajabde left home and was going to the main road when it started pouring heavily!
She was so angry at herself as she didn't have any umbrella! She walked farther so as to catch an auto and go...
She managed to get a rickshaw soon and she got going..
So that's it...again chhotusaa...but I will update the next update tonight only so you can forgive me 😉
