After regaining consciousness, Ajabdeh was the one to try to free her hand from Pratap's grip while Pratap was still in la la land. And only Ajabde's mild struggle to free her hand brought him back to consciousness and he left her hand. So may be this is symbolic that when he will come to know the truth Ajabdeh will be the one to withdraw from him and give him a hard time before reconciliation. At least I hope this happens. Seeing Pratap and Patta marathon race I was chanting bhaag milkha bhaag lol. Pratap is right. Patta always loses his cool at the moment of danger. Not really a good sign in a warrior.
Oh how I loved that scene where PAtta bechara became a sandwich between his jija and jijusa. Jija saying no no no and jijusa saying yes yes yes. Bechara jaye toh jaye kahan. But atlast he agreed to Pratap's plan. argh!!

I like your interpretation, Ajabdeh is grounded in reality very much, she has a lot of maan, she was told by pratap to stay away and she will, but Pratap is still stuck somewhere in the past, he wants to love, but cant, he wants his mom too but she isnt there!
And Im sure Ajabdeh will make him bel papad before she forgives him truly!

well warriors have a tendency to lose their cool, but leaders dont, thats why pratap is the leader and a warrior, but patta is just a warrior!
