Scene 10Ajabde came running into her room drenched in water. She was shivering from top to bottom. In the attempt to get away from Pratap , she had not dried herself.
'Ye kya haal bana liya hai aapnay ajabde' Complained Hansa as she saw her daughter come to her room dripping water all over.
'aap sabh kya ker rahi thi' she shouted angrily at the dasis.
'i..inhay...kkkuch mm.math ka.kahiye.maa. hhum-ney h-hi mana k-kiya tha' shivered Ajabde.
Hansa came running towards her with towel and started drying her.
'ap bhi na ajabde, kamal kerthi hain' Kithni hati ho gayi hain aap. Agar ek din ye sabh aapk madad ker dethi tho aapka kya jatha. Kahi aapko zukham ho gaya tho? said Hansa concerned.
Turant ye vastr badal dijiye.
Hansa handed Ajab her dress and the dasis immediately helped her change and started drying her long think dark hair.
'aaachu... sneezed Pratap loudly as he entered into his room.
'k...(SNEEZE) ... koi Hai... Shouted Pratap.
Just then Jaiwanta entered into his room.
'Ye kya ho gaya Pratap? she said shocked.
Just then two servants appeared and jaivanta ordered them to bring in warm towels.
'dijiye humain' she said grabbing the towels from the hands of the servants.
Jaiwanta fussed on Pratap's state and commanded him to change his clothing immediately.
'humain abh samaroh main jana bhi hai' she said leaving the room.
This was all due to ajabde. THought Pratap. I will make her pay for this, he thought angrily.
<SNEEZE>
'Kisi ki nazar na lag jaye meri lado ko' said Hansa as she looked lovingly towards Ajabde. She was looking gorgeous in her elegant royal attire. Chalo abh, samaroh arambh honay hi wala hai.
Ajbde followed suit. They were led a great hall that was decorated beautifully. The crystal chandelier spreading its shine all over making the lights dance merrily around the entire hall.
She walked on the red velvet carpet and met Jaiwanta who was eagerly waiting to welcome her daughter in law.
'Ghanni Kamma Ranima' said Ajabde Shyly
'Kamma ghani, wah kithni sundar lag rahi ho aaj ajabde. Kisi ka nazar na lagay' she said proudly.
Hansa, Jaivanta and Ajabe sat on their respective royal chairs.
Hansa indicated towards saubhagyawati to start the gathering.
soon there were dancers that came dancing towards the middle of the hall. They sang about how their queen of their hearts was now going to be the queen of the future maharana of the land. They praised the valor of Pratap and the intelligence of Ajabde.
Ajabde was reminiscing the beautiful moments of how they had met when the singers started telling the tale of their childhood friendship.
'Abh is samaroh main hum bulana chahthay hain , do aisi khiladiyon ko jo talwar bazi ki vidya main nipurn hai. Humain pata hai ki Ajabde Baisa ko ye bohot hi pasand aayega- said Saubhagya wati as she indicated towards the other side of the room
Then two male knights came on to the floor. They were showing the valor of rajpoot warrior by showcasing their sword fighting skills. Ajabde smiled proudly as she looked at them display their skills.
'Wah, kithnay nipurn hai ye dono unki kala main' -she said as she clapped.
'Soon there were 4 more knights that had joined in. Their face were covered with the turban and all of them seemed to be fighting with one knight who was in the center. Ajabde could not see the face of that warrior as it was obscured with his red turban'
'Ye kon hai- she asked Saubhagyawati'
'inhay tho humari sena main hona chahiye' kithnay nipurn hai she once again complimented.
And then another set of 4 warriors came along who began literally attacking the single knight. Now there were 8 men fighting with one man.
Hansa and Jaiwanta began to worry as the fight had gotten fierce but then one by one the knight managed to knock out the swords from the hands of his opponents. And then in the end he alone stood midst all , victorious.
Ajabde , Hansa and Jaiwanta got up from their chairs and clapped real hard. Everyone followed suit.
'Aapnay ithna acha pradarshan kiya hai ... hum tho ashcharya chakit rah gaye' complimented Hansa.
'Sahih kaha apanay hansa' 'Ye lijiye inaam, Jaivwanta said as she took out her kangan and gave it to him as prize'
'Ithnay nipurn, kalakar ko hum kya inaammain de sakthay hain? aap mangiyie jo mangana hai' said Ajabde pleased.
'aap apnay vachanon sey peechay nahi hatengi na? said the Knight
'Nahi ' said Ajabde 'hum Rajput hai, Pran jaye par vachan na jaye jaise sanskar hai humaray =she said proudly
'Tho hum aapko ek bhaint dena chahthay hain, kya apako voh sweekarniya hai? he asked
Ajabde went silent. She looked at the man standing in front of him and for the first time since he had arrived , she gazed into his eyes.
Then and there she recognized him. It was none other than her pratap. Now what is he up to she thought, her mind racing and heart beating faster. She looked at her mother and her face was etched with worry. She knew that this meant nothing good, he would surely do something that would embarrass her.
PRatap understood that she had recognized him and he smiled to himself.
'aapnay vada kiya hai aur aap ek sachi raajputani hai , tho hum asha kerthay hain ki aap apnay Vachan sey nahi peechay hatengi' -He said
Ajabde was stuck, she then slowly went forward and faced pratap who was standing a step below.
Pratap slowly took out a rose and put it in front of him holding the stalk in one hand.
'Ye aapkay liye, humaray prem ka prateet.
Ajabde remembered how he had given her similar rose when he had proposed to her. She smiled at him sweetly but immediately became extremely conscious as the entire court was watching her and the knight. She could suddenly see many women whispering.
Ye kaisi asabhya vyavhar hai ? asked Hansa angrily
'Ma... started Ajabde
'Koi hai wahan per' ordere Hansa
'Nahi ma rukiye.. Ajabde Stopped Hansa from calling out to the soldiers.
'Ye.. kuwar PRatap hai' She declared
Kya? asked Hansa shocked as she looked at Jaiwanta who had a smile on her face.
'Humnay bhi pehchanliya hai inhay Hansa' She affirmed.
'Kuwar Pratap, aap yahan? asked Hansa
Pratap took off the cloth from his face and reveled his identity to the crowd.
There was a mixture of giggles and open laughter. Ajabde had turned to the deepest shade of red. She noticed that Pratap too had gotten some color on his face. He did not expect that his action would cause this amount of stir.
'Abh inhay aise hi khada rakhengay , ya inki bhaint sweekar bhi karengi aap ajabde' asked Hansa sweetly
Ajabde , turning possibly even redder, took the flower from his hands.
The dancers pulled ajabde onto the floor and started dancing around Pratap and Ajabde.
Pratap and Ajabde looked lovingly each other and then watched their people rejoicing their union.
