Jannat Zubair and Ayan Zubair

There have been a lot of news around in the media of a new channel Epic and also much been speculated as to when will the channel launch.

Well, here TellyBuzz brings to you another exclusive piece of news.

Jannat Zubair Rahmani who was last seen as a young PhoolKawar in Sony TV's Bharat Ka Veer Putra - Maharana Pratap produced by Contiloe Productions will be seen in a new show on the new channel Epic.

The show is based on the book 'Salim's 20th wife'. Jannat will be seen essaying the role of Salim's twentieth wife Mehrunisa in the show. She will be seen in the show for the initial six-seven episodes before the leap.

Another surprising thing that the viewers will get to see that Jannat's brother Ayaan who is currently essaying the role of Salim in Zee TV's Jodha Akbar produced by Balaji Telefilms will too be seen in the show. Ayan will portray the character Salim's son Kurram in the show.

While Jannat will be seen in the show before the leap, Ayaan will be seen post the leap in the show.

The show is an historical show and will be a finite series.
