And how is it a life that could have been hers? Would Pratap ever have HAPPILY married her like he's marrying Ajabde? No...so her dream was just that...a dream...Pratap would have married her under coercion so it's not like only her "giving up" of Pratap has allowed Pratap-Ajabde to be married.

This is one point I've really not liked in the writing...how Pratap has literally been reduced to an object that Ajabde and Phool took turns passing/tossing to each other...You marry him, no you marry him...like he's not even a human being with a right to his own choice and feelings...so no, I really don't buy this balidaan bhaavna of Phool's...it was a very contrived writing cliche.

Ajabde also did some ridiculous things in the lead up to the wedding but anyways I'm just glad the wedding is done with now.

At the onset let me say am myself a praja shipper and not fond of phool, but can still appreciate what she has done...
With the term "life that could have been hers", I never meant that Pratap would have been jumping with joy for being married to her...my point was, well if she didn't step back, she could have easily been married to pratap, hence becoming the Kunwrani (which is really a big deal..)...and yes pratap would not have been over the moon, joyous, ecstatic at being married with her, but some sort of emotion would have been there...( especially after that stupid gajra kand 😔)...mainly friendship, trust whatever, but some sort of affection would have been there...
I am not saying that Phool's the reason Praja got married, but that Phool has played an imp role...she was the person who took out Ajabde from her phool obsession...she was the one who made Rao Maldev see reason...she was the person who again took on Rao Maldev at the engagement (well I dint see anyone from the mewar royals do anything, apart from Jb and she also said things after seeing phool not in favour of marrying pratap!!!)...and lastly she took Ajabde's side when Ajab exposed Uma devi...can u imagine what would have happened if she ditched ajabde at the last moment...(after all it was her own blood, her dadi)...Ajabde for all her right intentions could not have proved anything...n u really think the mewaris would have forgiven ajabde for accusing UD without any proof (phool was her only proof)...as UD is the maharani of marwar and insulting a maharani without a valid reason can have its repercussion...
and I don't equate phool's stepping back with balidan as imo both are very different things...she not only stepped back but also helped remove obstacles in way to praja union...
I am not saying that we should sing paeans for phool but atleast we can appreciate what she has done...I donno what future has in store for phool and her oscillating character, but for now at least we can be civil to her...
these are strictly my opinion...apologies if it offends you in some way...peace...😊

I honestly don't think I've been uncivil about PhoolšŸ¤”

Like I said, the writing is not believable when it comes to her character...many times in the guise of friendship, they try to force her into the narrative by showing things like Ajabde being unable to think for herself and unable to do anything unless Phool forces her to do it...that is where I find her character hard to buy...otherwise I have nothing against Phool with her childish/materialistic antics as they initially showed her.

I'm not doubting Phool's loyalty and friendship towards Ajabde...I do understand all that she has done for Ajabde as a friend...like I said, my issue is with how Pratap was tossed like an object b/w the two girl as if it doesn't matter who marries him as long as both of them can prove their great friendship for each other.

Pratap and Ajabde fuss over Phool like she's their kid...Even in the gajra scene there was a matter of factness from Pratap...he has affection for Phool but of a strictly platonic kind so far...unless that changes rapidly post leap however they end up getting married...it will all be very ironic in light of the vachans that just happened in the Pratap-Ajabde weddingšŸ˜†...

Its all cvs maya...šŸ˜†...
first they distort phool's character and then to make her mahan they mutilate ajab's...and in between the merrily butcher pratap also...(I just cant get the gajra thing out of my mind taking in to account that era..)...I was hopping mad at the way they reduced pratap as a toy between the 2 friends..😔
The vachans though beautiful don't hold any meaning taking in to account the number of rani's pratap had..!!! cvs should have paid attn. and written dif vachans..šŸ˜‰

haha exactly...what was the need for such big vachans when everyone knows the history and facts regarding how many wives Pratap had...upar se the writers are hell bent on forcing Phool into every scene whether it makes sense or not...so how exactly will Ajabde be the only woman Pratap loves?šŸ˜†

I'm hoping Pratap's own vachans for Ajabde that will be shown on Monday are better than the official wedding ones...cuz those might foreshadow how Ajabde will stand with him through his toughest times especially his exile years...I wish they would show some nice conversation scenes b/w them where hopefully Ajabde isn't acting silly as she has these past few days...but maybe this is too much to ask since the leap is almost herešŸ˜†

beautiful postšŸ‘šŸ¼ and even more lovely GIFs😳😳 using themāļø
its true that CVs hit bulls eye finally with praja wedding epi...coz they had really ruined the sagaai and haldi badly...taking away every bit of essence from praja

I do feel that everything in the show went awry with the phool's letter which went unread from ajab...and the second round of not required sacrifice...CVs completely lost the plot with that...

somewhat the toranmal phase was interesting...coz of the way faisal performed as pratap as dil jaalaa lover...but then the CVs decided to go for major character correction in phool...and overturning almost every character in the process - ajab, pratap, jb, HB, US,MM,...like everyone suddenly became dumb to make phool mahaan I feltšŸ˜• I understand they need to establish phool as pratap's wife later, so they had to do this...but ajab was totally ruined in the process...and the gajra kand is beyond my understanding - there was no need for that kind of scene

but the wedding was well done...though there are some serious lose ends...and some scenes which were required before the wedding...ajab never confessed properly, ajab did not apologize to pratap for her stone heart behaviour, pratap did not feel the pinch for shouting at ajab in front of his family...

anyhow...the feel was there, which was missing for so long, in the wedding...šŸ‘šŸ‘ kids looked great, acted very well...and what I specifically liked is the child like conversations CVs retained between praja...it was way way too cute...the varmala teasing, the pratap teasing ajab in middle of wedding and ajab helping pratap in the heart question...its cute😳

Hey thanks :-)

Toranmal phase held a lot of promise...like you said, cuz Faisal performed it so well...the Pratap so confident of winning his love and using all tactics so cleverly...they could have stretched it out for a bit rather than wrapping it up so quickly by making Toranmal run away...but yes overnight all the characters were changed to glorify Phool and how only she can save the entire situation by having to slap Ajabde into her senses againšŸ¤” Ah well...

The actual wedding was very good, I totally agree...even though as you said, some things should have been shown like Pratap regretting shouting at her or Ajabde having confessed her feelings to him more openly rather than literally trying to walk away from the wedding till the last minute.

But yes it was sweet that the core Pratap-Ajabde equation came through in the wedding...through their eyes especially these kids emote so well...the playfulness in the jaimala scene was really a highlight...Ajabde looking at him all warily there was so cute...lol...also loved the varied emotions they displayed...the solemnity in the sindoor bit, the joy on both their faces as each set of rituals was completed...the way they turned to look at each other...the whole 'meant to be' feel for the pair came through nicely...also I loved how respectful they both looked in the end doing pranaam to everyone...just standing there together they looked like King and Queen.
