PraJa Drabble : Falling Might

"Kyunki Woh Kanya humein mil chuki hai"

Her heart stopped beating . The suppressed emotions desperately finding a let out. The tears betraying her eyes. 'Traitors' she thought . She felt so weak hearing his voice filled with utmost sincerity and earnestness. Why did fate have to be so hard? She felt crippled by the rising tension between them.

"Aur Woh Humaare Saamne khadi hain"

With that she couldn't control her overwhelming emotions. She couldn't let go before seeing him once,just once she promised herself.She turned to see his eyes , his eyes glistening with the love he had for her . For a moment she forgot herself, the memories engulfed the space between them. She couldn't limit herself to the boundaries she had constricted herself to, with those pair of eyes pleading her not to. He always had a way to get to her , the way no one had ever. She didn't want to think anymore, if she was to be punished , be it. She hugged him, with all the might she had , she wanted to hold on to this reality before letting it slip through her hands like everything else had . She had broken her barriers,for him , because she loved him, and nothing could change that.

He had got his answer. His Ranimaa wasn't wrong,she loved him and for now that was enough , no one was in this moment except them, and to him that's what mattered the most.he wanted to feel the warmth , he wanted to feel her love. He placed his hand on her placing her closer to his heart. He smiled for she was with him , for she was his , at least for now . He wanted the time to stop, away from the big responsibilities, the politics , just in her arms. He felt at peace with himself , he felt complete. He knew when Ajab would retreat to her conscious self , she would turn away but that's what he loved about her , her eyes could never meet his eyes , because they spoke words she would never , she was scared because they would tell him words she wanted to suppress.

After minutes she moved away from him with realisation taking over. Before she moved he confessed "Hum aapse behad prem karte hain Ajabde"

She couldn't breathe . He loved her , no one ever told that to her , he loved her . Her eyes moistened up, and this time around she didn't hesitate . She held her arms open . He hugged her tightly . They were one . For as long as this lasted , they wanted to feel each moment , second .
