Why not ? Is stepping into kitchen to cook any bad or low thing ? Its about interest and ajabde have interest in cooking food and phool have not that's why phool don't even know how to cut veggies . And girls whether princess or not should no cooking . I strongly feel people from that age also gave importance to cooking an all may be not every day but they might used to cook some days.

Sorry I don't get where you have seen kitchen politics in Mp we had one scene in bijolia where the girls cooked food for pratap while doing kitchen politics is completely different thing I guess. I happens in fiction shows.

princesses should know how to cook. cooking is an essential skill that every person man or woman should know. imagine you get stranded in a far off place. who is going to cook your food or wash your clothes in times of need? if princes and princesses do not know how to cook then they are the losers. because they do not know who is going to poison them when. especially in those times when there were no testing laboratories or any other way of ensuring quality. what goes into one's own body one should be aware of. and phool and of course ajab should be knowing to cook. does not matter how many people they have employed to do their work. have they not camped out in the woods ever? such a pity! or gone to watch a bear in the forest?
