I am totally out of my mind to see Akbar showing concern and softness towards Pratap though both of them have not unveiled their true identity. But my question is did they really meet each during their visit to Dwaraka to meet Meerabai? Did Akbar showed this kind of sympathy to Pratap? Did Akbar had interest with the princess of Malwad? If this is not true then we must warn CVs to not to mislead people for showing wrong facts.

Dwarka akbar pratap face to face might be Cvs creation to justify both personality. but akbar did go to see meera maa and sure pratap might have seen her too as she is part of family.
Akbar and Pratap did war against each other for all their life but they had respect for each other as both of them were great worrier. Akbar never went as commander of his team when they were fighting against pratap as he was scared to get killed.

akbar went Malwar first as per history

In 1561 the kingdom was invaded by the Mughal emperor Akbar. Rao Malladeva (ruled 1532-1562) was forced to submit and to send his son Udai Singh as a mark of homage to take service under the Mughal emperor. After the death of his son Chandrasen in 1581, Marwar was brought under direct Mughal administration and remained so till 1583, whenUdai Singh ascended to the throne.

Akbar was many things, he could be cruel and arrogant at times but he was not the type to get scared. He once crushed a rebellion in Gujarat with just a handful of soldiers. His enemy had much superior numbers but they were dispirited by his daring and surrendered.

On another occasion to stop a Queen of Jodhpur being forced to comitt sati, he rode non stop from Agra to Jodhpur, all alone and made the Sati ceremony stop. And we know how dangerous religious fervor can become.

The friendship between Akbar and Pratap is going to come to an abrupt end on Monday. And once it known to everyone who he is, any romantic inclinations that Akbar may have had for the princess will come to an end too.

Akbar was not directly involved because he did not need too. He had cleverly got most of the Rajput Kings on his side so by the time of the battle of Haldighati, Pratap did not have the strength to defeat him. If you look up history, you can see that number of soldiers on both sides of the battle was very less.

That battle was a formality only . Akbar even let an inexperienced general like Man Singh command the army.

This is in sharp contrast to Maharan Pratap's grandfather Rana Sangha. The great Rana Sangha had the support of most of Rajputana, he had a huge army, more that 1.5 lakh soldiers and he nearly defeated Akbar's grandfather Babur in a fierce battle.

i read this story in a book want to know if its true can someone tell?
salim was 7 years old and sent to battle of haldighatti with man singh(its known fact salim wnt to battle at age of 7) and since battle got intense he was sent off from battle field. When Shakti killed 4 afghan gaurds to save Pratap's life near river and gave his horse salim saw it as he had wandered away from camp looking around.
After a few months/years the commanders wanted to question shakti whta happened that day. akbar was not around so it was salim who was asked to question. salim told him he will not take any action if he spoke truth and shakti told him he could not stand watching his brother die and salim will understand him because he too loves his brothers. So salim agreed with him and told him to leave mughal services and go back to pratap. Akbar was wild in anger at salim for this.
Is this correct history?

Thank u for this piece of info. MP will become more interesting once this track starts in the serial. Battle of Haldighatti was the most crucial point in Pratap's life. He suffered a lot during that time. It was that time Shakti and Pratap came together.
