Your questions helped me think more and look up more of history and POVs too.

So I'd thank you also. 😊

Personally I watch all historicals and mythos on TV, either on original timings or repeats or online. It's nice to learn about past, debate and discuss issues or look up more of history by self and try to understand how society was in past and how it is now.
And I am active at MP forums because Maharana Pratap is less explored in history textbooks as well as pop culture so I am curious and want to know more about him.
Healthy discussions are always fine.

I want to know if Pratap's name is Maharana or is it his Title? Because I see not only on this forum but even on Jodha Akbar as well, everyone refers to him as Pratap! So what does the Maharana mean?😳 In Jodha Akbar they call him Kunwar Pratap

His name is Pratap only...Maharana refers to the "KING"...in Rajput the king is known as Rana or Maharana (If i m not wrong)...

Well I have heard of Maharaja... And Kunwar for a Prince... But I'm not sure about Maharana... I thought it was his name at first😕

rana and raja is another thing... but Maharana title was rewarded only to the great kings, so pratap is called as Maharana Pratap

But Uday Singh is also called Maharana in the serial...isn't it ??
