I agree. Worst fears are beginning to come true now! 😭
@Melosa
I am NOT picking on the thing you like. This is not "picking on". And this is a show, which is up there for public viewership and scrutiny. So opinions can be passed on it.
Sorry but this "If you pick on what I like then I pick on you" was unwarranted. In a thread about the show, you're getting personal?
Regarding "drag" then they have done it earlier also. Dragging need not require such early full on focus on Akbar IMO.
The rest I do not wish to respond to.
@Moner_Radio
I agree it would be better to write on Sony's website and official pages on social networks. In any case, this forum hasn't seemed conducive, given nature of responses. I already regret writing here.
BTW, yesterday's episode began with Akbar. First 7 minutes were about him. Last 6-7 minutes were also him. So one day he is there for nearly whole episode. Other day, episode starts and ends with him and almost half time of the show's duration is dedicated to him! 😲
US and Raawat were again discussing him only and talking about this "shaatir chhoti umar wala baadshah". Then US started comparing him to Pratap claiming he couldn't be cleverer than Pratap!
I know Akbar has to be shown later and even more as Shakti and Pratap's other brothers join him. But already showing Akbar this much and constantly comparing Pratap and Akbar even when they are not yet in comparative situations and do not even know about each others' existence is NOT DONE.
I'd like to see Maharana Pratap for who he was. Not merely as a comparison to Akbar.
It was necessary to show Akbar but only later (especially this extent of screen space).
