Thumbs down Uday Singh!

Uday Singh's bias against Shakti came to the fore already the moment he declared to Shakti that he had broken even last ties between father and son. All this snarling without even giving him a chance to speak?!

Partly Uday Singh's snarling at the beginning, partly Shakti's own fear (he did not realise that his push had resulted in death of that Bhanu guy!) and partly his feelings of insecurity as the less preferred/neglected prince made Shakti stay silent.

Okay, Shakti was silent. But why did Uday Singh NOT launch a proper investigation himself before reaching any final conclusion?!

Simply because he was concerned about his reputation as a just king?! And also because he has now learnt from an astrologer that Shakti would be harmful for his kingdom?!

Shakti is just a kid/teen! But Uday Singh is older and ought to be wiser!

Pratap went to the kaal kothri to investigate both sides of the story. Whereas this work should have been done by Uday Singh!

And why the hell did he refuse to listen to Pratap when he approached him and begged to present the truth to him?!

Uday Singh's putting down the queens and snarling that Shakti is not the future of Mewar was again BS and implied as if Shakti's existence or non existence did not matter!

Which court and which judge take decisions on accusations like murder like this - without any investigation and without any word from BOTH the parties involved?!

The ONUS tonight was on Uday Singh being an adult and being the judge. But he again behaved like an egomaniac! And if he did this to put Shakti in place or teach him a lesson then it was the worst way to tackle him!

Boo Uday Singh! 🤢

P.S. - Shakti did end up committing crime - of escaping from jail (knowingly) and of causing death (unknowingly). But justice is NOT delivered WITHOUT proper investigation from all sides! It does not mean Shakti should be let off. But he does not deserve the highest level of punishment either!

Udai Singh can be extremely biased. Like the previous poster pointed out, even if Shakti had told the truth, what guarantee would there be that Udai would believe him?

shakti is at fault but he has barely started entering his teens and he is still considered a kid. if he did something bad, its is udai singh's duty as a father and as a king (u cant punish children like this.i dont think it suits any king and no law can actually say that. even our today's law system is a bit lenient towards 18 under) that he learns from his mistakes. moreover whatever the astrologer said abt shakti, it is udai singh who is acting a a catalyst here and pushing him towards that path by neglecting him and denying him the love of a father. from this incident is the clear now that udai singh does not know how to handle his own family or he knows zilch abt parenting. he is intelligent but he is a slave to his own bad qualities. all he sees is outward beauty, loves his praises or anybody who praises him for no reason, too egoistic to listen to anybody and thinks he is always right just coz he is the king.

Given Udai Singh's prejudice, one wonders if he would have even believed Shakti had Shakti told the entire truth of the incident! 🤢 He has never given a chance to Shakti!

And those dialogues on nyay, garima and Rana ji ki jai ho - got him carried away even more. 😕

Forget examining the truth by self, forbid even Pratap from telling the truth and proceed with the decision to prove greatness as a "just" Rana ji! 🤢

I bet even if the truth is out and Shakti is saved, still this Udai Singh won't try to say a few words of calm and advice to Shakti. Rather he will behave as if he did a great ehsaan on Shakti by pardoning his death sentence or he will taunt him by asking him to thank Pratap and worsen the relation between the brothers by making Pratap's genuine action also look like a favour to "useless" Shakti!

US is a reason why Pratap and Shakti aren't able to bond as brothers!
