I don't know about you guys but I certainly don't like the kind of man Maharana Udai Singh is. I'm not talking about his qualities as a king (for he is obviously a good king) but about his relationship with his wives and sons. The CVs are portraying him better than he actually was. On his deathbed, Udai Singh made Bhattiyani's son Jagmal his successor instead of Pratap, who was the eldest son. Udai seems like a really shallow minded person and king who only gives importance to the beauty and youthfulness of his younger wife instead of the virtuous and noble character of his first wife.

It's ok at a time (nah its not lol) for Udai to not love Jaivantabai but he should at least love his son Pratap. Instead he lets Bhattiyani wield so much of influence over him and does whatever pleases her even if it means abandoning and hurting his first wife and his first son. I even feel bad for Sajjabai, she's also such a sweetheart but is completely ignored by her husband.

In contrast to Udai Singh, it will be lovely to watch Pratap's married life. I've heard that he had a lot of affection for his first wife, Ajbade Punwar. 😊

Yeah CVs r potraying him better than wat actually he was.

I really hated him when he blamed Jaywanta ...

Yeah, really hated him as well when he blaimed Jaivanta. I was surprised at the lack of trust and regard he has for even when he's known her for so long.

I think bhatiyani has influenced him a lot so we are watching such gestures. But as far as his kingdom and his bravery is concerned he was genuinely a great king.. I agree that there might be personal issues, and bhatiyani tactics which makes his image bad in front of us. I too felt bad for jayvanta bai but lets keep ourselves at the place of uday singh, bhatiyani played such a smart and crooked game that anyone would have believed her story who doesn't knows her real face

Yeah I know that Udai Singh is a good king but he shouldn't allow Bhattiyani to have so much of influence over him. Like the scene where he was playing with Jaivanta and Pratap, he immediately left them when Bhattiyani came to complain to him that he didn't visit her in her chamber that night like he does everyday. That was just wrong. Pratap was having so much fun with him and he still left. Udai has a LOT of personal issues.

but uday singh doesn't know even a bit about bhatiyani's intentions, he is completely unaware of her, in such situation we can expect him to get illusioned and react differently. I think its situations faults

Uday Singh is a great king, he is just blinded by his love at this moment. The only thing we can hope is for Jaywanta to be more cautious and alert to Bhatyani's chaals.

Sajjabai is being used by Dheerbai and I feel very bad for her. Hated him when he shouted at Jaywanta Bai and she was quite throughout. When he is giving so much importance to Dheerbai' words , he should give a chance to Jaywanta Bai also. She had proof with her. The whole scene was like watching a modern day soap.
