I just got around to watching this epi...this revelation was long expected but still quite well executed...Aashka EXCELS in such roles...lol...she's already proven that as Kala in LTL...and as Bhatiyaani she is getting similar scope...now her character will be more interesting to watch...

I liked how the scene was set up...with her daaimaa or whoever that lady is...trying to reason with her...telling her that she has Rana ji's love unlike the other ranis...but Bhatiyaani is one with AMBITION...GREAT ambition...love is not enough for her...she desires to be EXTRAORDINARY...that one line where she says, "What use is Mewar to me if I can't rule it?"...that basically shows her philosophy is all about herself...and by extension her unborn child whom she wants to see ruling Mewar...quite sad how selfish interests of this sort ultimately led to the downfall of the kingdom.

I guess this angle will continue into Pratap's adulthood as well where whatever love interest they show for him will also have to square off with Bhatiyani's influence in his life...plenty of politics...lol...this is a bit reminiscent of the MahamAnga angle in JA as well wherein there is a principle "Motherly" figure that the prince/King regards above all even though she hates him in actuality.
