I actually come here to be happy and to talk about my fevorit proggramme.

I understand that people want a reunion ASAP.

This serial is going without changing its story too much even when people think that they are accomodating Nividita or not.

Have patience in life no one is punished straight away after doing bad deeds as we say in hindi ... the pot of bad deeds mut be overfull before it can break. And it seems that Mama mamis pot is extra large so it take a lot longer as well as they have Runjhuns bhaag with them so people cannot harm them easily. That is why the present situation. Runjhun gets help of Guddus bhaag but her own bhaag dose not work for her in the same way. That is why she suffers but when she is with Guddu she has a good life.

It is only Guddu who can harm mama mami when he decides for it. But he dose not do that since he knowes that despite everything Runjhun loves them.

If people say how happy they are to watch the serial perhaps more will join the forum no one wants to join a forum where people are alway and most of the time complaining.

Think it over and think of a strategy to upplift the rank at IF.

I personally think one of the biggest issues with BBAT is the language (which is the best thing for me and people who understand Hindi well ). The language used in this series is very native Hindi which is not understood well in almost half of India. On top if it is very wordy compared to other serials. Now do not mistake me, I love the pace and the beauty of the script in BBAT. But from a practical point of view as there are no subtitles in India, I know for a fact that none of my relatives understand anything in BBAT .(Actually I am a south Indian but lived in North most of my life and Hindi is more of my spoken language than my mother tongue). That way we are losing 60-70 % of the possible viewers. If you look at others like PR/HD etc the language is very colloquial and easily understood. And also the number of word used per episode is far less. So however good the plot turns out to be I do not think we have much hopes as far as TRP goes. But I think this series has amazing international following and because of the sub title they do not care the actual language used in the series. But we would rather have the high quality of script and story that keeps us attracted rather than compromising it for TRP. Let us enjoy our show for as long as we can with the beautifully written script in a wonderful style and low TRPS.

😉
Well hats off to you for hitting on the sollution for TRP.👏👏👏 Start sending emails to Zee for using subtitels even in India, all over india if they want to increase the TRP.👍🏼 They will shoot high.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼😆 Since the subtitiels are used internationally it may not be so hard for them to use them in India as well. And may bee cheeper with all the TRP gains an investment.😉

Should we start a drive for asking for subtitels in India

@ vanfan...thank you so much for your incredible insight !! That explains a lot to a non Indian and non hindi speaker like myself!!!! NOW I understand why the show is not as popular in India as it is internationally!!

@Azuria...please don't kill the messenger!!!😉!!! I do not like to sugar coat anything and call it like I see it...sorry, if others are offended, that is not my intention in the least!! Love the show, love the forum but having witnessed the demise of other Zee serials ex. Vachan, and Sangini (both of which I enjoyed!) ,I have to admit that low TRPs do make me very nervous!!! If the TRP's had no influence on the shows success ,I could care less...believe me!! However, I refuse to bury my head in the sand, and pretend that it doesn't matter !!! Doing that will not make the issue disappear unfortunately!! Will continue to support the show in whatever capacity is needed, but hope that doesn't mean that I should not express my opinions , even though they may be unpopular!!

From my observations, forum members represent a wide array of differing opinions, all bringing their own flavor and making their own contributions...and in their OWN unique style!!! We all have our favorites, but each member brings something valuable to the table!! After all, isn't that the real purpose of the forum, to give everyone a voice re BBAT??

Lessen Dear,
I am not against people saying what they think about the show. II would like to have constructive critisizem .
Not one liners I hate the show. Thats all I mean.
Hope ypu understand my point of view.

When we had the first drive I read at a site that Zee is trying to catch the audience outside India . And trying to introduce such showes and BBAT was one of it.

From my knowledge of TRPs it's based on a certain demographic cross-section and not the entire population. Additionally, International viewers do not count. Having said that I believe Zee is also impacted by emails and phone calls especially if it's clearly stated that its from an internationally based fan. There is an impact as can be seen from when it was under the scanner several months ago and a petition as well as email campaign and phone calls by us international fans was initiated which ultimately saved the show.

I have also mentioned in previous posts and emails to Zee as well as on their FB of their bias and deliberate sabotage of the show by not promoting it properly, treating it like a step child and deliberately placing it in a time slot where there are several TRP leaders such as Bade Acche Lagte Hai on Sony, Pratigya on Star Plus and of course Bigg Boss. Additionally, Indian audiences like opulence …they like to see celebrations of religious festivals / rituals etc and BBAT only really showed this during Diwali/Bhai Dhuj and of course Mahadevi's wedding.

Another factor is that primarily the Indian audience (and I could be wrong on this) is generally comprised of house wives (or that is what is believed) and this audience historically likes saas bahu sagas with the rich handsome suave debonair business tycoon hero and the sati savitri sacrificial without faults heroine! A strong male dominant character has rarely been shown on Indian soaps as they are always female oriented.

BBAT is the only show aside from Kasam Se's Jai Walia that had a strong male character with a "don't give a damm" attitude which was the reason it appealed to me. The characters of Guddu and Runjhun appealed to me because they BOTH have flaws and even now Guddu is not a character to be led around like a puppy dog by his wife despite loving her immensely. I hope this remains so through BBAT's (hopefully long) life.

I think we fans of BBAT need to continually go on to their feedback page (Zee India) and convey our positive feelings of the show and let CVs know what tracks we want to see. All we can do is try and hope for the best…we have come this far so there is some impact … we even complained about Himmanshoo and Nivedita and the show not being nominated in Zee Rishtey and see they gave Himmanshoo an award which he truly deserved….don't know if true but I think we had an impact there!

Anyway enough of my spiel but bottom line is to keep sending positive feedback for this show we love so much and don't give up on it because of the separation track!! In my opinion the show has a lot of tracks that can be shown in the future.

Nina

@azuria, sometimes a one liner is all a forumer may have to offer!! Maybe time constraints, language barriers etc. Whatever the reasons, that forumer has taken the time and effort to say something, and no matter how unpopular it may be, it IS of value to them and should be to us as well. We may not agree, and that's OK, but we must place value on everyone's point of view, and be appreciative of their contribution!!

The change in Bhagonwali's time from 6:30 to 11:00p.m. had debilitating effects on the TRP'S and thus should have remained that way. Apart from this time change, the recurring separation Gunjhun track is also highly responsible. Therefore it is imperative that the CV'S enhance their creativity by employing innovative techniques if they want to attract more Indian viewers

@luvsagar...excellent post! Thank you so much for enlightening me and so many others on the TRPs and the Indian audience as a whole. Invaluable info. ...much appreciated!! Personally speaking, all the palaces, opulence, excessive rituals, oppressive in laws etc. are a big turn off for me!! Love BBAT precisely, because of the lack of emphasis on all of the above! Like the" ordinariness" of the show, coupled with the fact that the romance developed in such an atypical manner to the other shows I've seen. Thanks as well for all the suggestions re supporting and promoting the show, will follow through and hope for success!!!
