What kind of ending is this... geez i mean i thought they brought nihal back for him and suhana to have a future and now she is going to back to her idiot husband Dev who never understood her feelings.....

I am glad that they didn't do anything stupid like suddenly making Suhana go back to Nihaal. She has clearly moved on. There have been 2 leaps since she left Chopra house. That's a long period of time you know. Long enough for someone to leave their old flames behind and move ahead in life. They have established again and again that Suhana has moved on from Nihal and is in love with Dev. She rejected Nihaal after the first leap after she left the Chopras. Then there was all that stuff about her look-a-like and Dev almost going insane with guilt. And then the storyline with her being presumed dead (for the 3rd time btw 🤣) and return. Ultimately, they always brought Dev-Suhana back. It's clear what the writers intended. Suhana is no longer a teenager. She is what...in her late 30s I think. It's more mature of her to move on from her old flame now. Yeah I know, the misunderstandings are stupid but that's how these soaps push their plots ahead. There's no creativity left you know. Besides, Nihaal's story works much better as a tragedy.

Nihaal was brought back for TRPs. That is all. Don't misunderstand me. I like the Nihaal-Suhana love track too but that's over. And we need to accept that. People move on, you know.

BTW I think since Suhana moved on, it'd have been nice if they had made Nihaal move on too, instead of making him a loner. I don't know how many of you remember, but during the time that he stayed in a village (small town?) away from the Chopras, pretending to have amnesia, there was a local girl who fell in love with him. It'd have been nice if he had eventually ended up with her. 😆

Another thing to consider is that the show was canceled suddenly. They simply didn't have enough time to do anything drastic. One big track (Rishabh's murder) just ended. How would they fit in any new track? Maybe if it wasn't canceled they could have pleased the Nihaal fans by killing off Dev and marrying Suhana with Nihaal. 🤣

Meanwhile, here's something to ponder on (it's unrelated to the present discussion but what the heck): Nihaal isn't actually a Chopra. His mother was Tilak's sister. So technically Suhana wouldn't be a bhabhi in the Chopra house if she married him. Funny how Nihaal's paternal family vanished from existence after the 20 year leap. 😆
