Gurdeep and Ankur will enter(Article)

After opting out of Dill Mill Gaya, Gurdeep Kohli Punj has now signed on a meaty role in Star's afternoon raker Bhabhi.

"I'm playing Geetanjali Sabharwal, the second lead in Bhabhi. She will help Suhana to get Samar (Tarun Khanna) behind the bars. Ankur Nayyar is going to play my husband in the show. With my character, the story will take a 360 degree turn. I sport a complete different look. I agreed to do this show as it is completely different from what I've done before," reveals an excited Gurdeep.

"She'll play a very powerful character and is not replacing any of the previous characters. In fact, we're also planning to introduce a new kid in the show but nothing has been finalized on that front," says Udit, the Creative head of Bhabhi.

The punjabi kudi who's very excited to be a part of this show has started shooting for it. So what are her future plans?

"I'm not keen on doing films as I am happy with daily soaps. Though, I am very keen on working with my hubby Arjun but someone noone's offering us anything together."
