saroj chose to have a life in a nunnery. i think when a person does that in an indian culture it is declared as being dead.(sorry if im wrong) this was her departure from the drama as she was leaving, tilak had an accident after saroj left him, although he saw her after that and didnt want her to comit her life to a nunnery she still went anyway. in the end he went to canada to get away from all the stress and to heal his injuries.

Saroj sacrified her life just on everything in bhabhi but finally she could not get any happiness. so she chose to have a life in a nunnery. Thilak was so sad that even after gaining back saroj after 20 years he could not have her as his wife. And finally Saroj's decision made them apart forever. So thilak went to Canada for healment.
