Maya had plenty of opportunities to redeem but she chose her pagalpanti over everything else. All she had to do was exercise control over herself. She had an opportunity to change when she went to the asylum but she never wanted to get over the madness and that is the reason she didn't take any medication. I agree what Ashwin did to her was inexcusable but using that past as an excuse to ruin so many lives is no excuse at all.

Remember Samay had to slap him twice and hold him back to stop him running to attack Maya again. And he said all those creepy things too. They are things that shareef people don't say. So not rape. But was he willing to go as far as indecent assault to get the keys? That's also a big crime.

Ayaan had seen what Arjun had reduced himself to after those 3 yrs. He had seen his pain n he saw how Maya was trying to control him. Wouldn't any person snap seeing their loved ones suffer? Even though Ayaan was the kid brother, he was way more mature and protective about Arjun. All he saw then was that the key to that room was the key to Arjun's freedom. Maya deliberately put that key in her blouse and why does everyone conveniently overlook that? For all we know Ayaan would have turned Maya upside down too to get the key rather than put his hand into her blouse. He groped for Maya but Maya deliberately let him rip her clothes. I am a woman too and a feminist at that. I hate men who shred a woman's dignity apart but I also hate women who use that to their advantage to defame a man as well.

If you have mental illness, you can't just "exercise control over yourself. You need medical help. You don't have a rational mind to think for yourself. That mental health facility track was a joke. Are they seriously trying to show that they trusted mental illness patients to take the medicines themselves? Of course many don't take them if left to their own devices. They'll stop eating them because it makes them feel strange. How normal is that? And yet the cvs tried to say that when you are admitted in a mental health facility they'll just trust that you're taking the medications and won't be able to tell whether you've recovered or not? Lol.

Ah but we don't know what he was willing to do or how far he was going to go. He ripped her clothes. She was running and he was ripping. He went mad in rage and did the wrong thing. If Samay had not come what would he have done to her? He should have had some sense. Arjun is not a kid, he can fight for himself and could walk whenever he wanted. His life was not in any danger it that moment that Ayan reacted so violently. Ayan started ripping his bhabi's clothes to get him out of that room? That's assault. Plain and simple. Everyone else's bad deeds have been overlooked.

The CVs have made blunders at each step 😆 The list is infinite. But the point I wanted to make was that Maya got into a hospital herself telling Arjun she took this step for them and the baby. Nobodu got her admitted. So it was just a show for Maya. She never wanted to get cured

That scene again was Maya's interpretation but Ayaan was never the kind of guy to vilify a woman. Anyone would want to kill Maya for ruining their brother's life. Maya ran about pushing n breaking things more than Ayaan to create that ambiance for a rape scene. In this forum all I see people ever doing is masking Maya's crimes by pin pointing at others. Maya was a psychopath and nothing or no one could change that. Even if Vandana had been nice to her, Maya would have eventually separated Arjun from her coz she was that possessive about Arjun. What had Ayaan done back then when they got married? He supported her against his mother but she created a rift between the brothers and she gave a twisted justification in front of God. Whether Ganesh bought her lies or not, the forum members certainly did 😆

I don't think she ever meant to separate Arjun from Ayaan. Only Vandana.

Anyway. After watching Instagram shooting of final scene just now, Beyhadh has officially broken my Maya-loving heart. Now no more. If I watch the old, lovable Maya it will break my heart even more to see that they made Maya's haalat into this. Dying in Arjun's arms ( with Saanjh there too ) with a sad tune in the background. 🤢

Happy Diwali 😊

The only reason why people feel sympathetic towards Maya is coz she is a lead character and also Jennifer is one of the most popular actresses we have today. But that being said I only have one question to ask - how can Maya's shady past be an excuse for all the crimes she did? You reap what you sow and that's what happened with her. I feel no empathy for her. She is a sociopath n a psychopath and people like her are dangerous to the society and more than anyone else, they are a threat to their own existence. Everytime she would commit a crime she would come to Lord Ganesh and cry. I felt a lil bad at her plight but my logical thinking could never agree with anything she did.

Of course it's not an excuse but it's the cause. The cause of her mental degradation. Nobody is born with that type of mindset are they? No, her life circumstances caused that. Right from birth she never saw anything like real love. So, did her mind really have a chance to develop into anything else? Did she ever get the chance to develop a sense of hadh? No. Unfortunately, they took her mental illness and turned her into a psychopath and you're right. Once someone becomes a dangerous psychopath, there's nothing much that anyone can do for them. It's death or life in jail. But Maya's mother, then Arjun, instead of neglecting her could have stopped her from becoming like this much earlier. I feel the most anger for Jhanvi. She sat back and watched while her child became like this. She put herself and her love above her daughter's wellbeing.
