Guys a humble request. I had made it earlier also. If you are discussing polar opposite views, please respect each other POV and agree to disagree and move on, than try to justify your POV and prove other person wrong. Quoting again and again creates load to the server and page can go slow
Another thing please dont discuss spoilers/interviews etc in this thread. This is an episodic analysis thread and please discuss the episodes only. It takes a lot of effort to maintain this thread in between professional and personal commitments. Please support to keep it sane.

I had forgotten to add rules to this thread, now updated the first page.

@Hadhsejyada thanks for understanding what I meant and giving a professional take to it. The part you mentioned about Saanjh is so true. Emotional manipulation where the victim feels they are guilty. Because in Maya's case the victim know they are the victim and Maya the criminal, but in emotional manipulation the abuser becomes the victim always.

Exactly.

The guilt trips that saanjh is giving Arjun rn, are a form of passive aggression.

She is not a neurotypical person she believes herself to be

HSJ, Saanjh's not denying that she loves Arjun, only saying that she thinks Arjun doesn't truly love her, and that his supposed love is a mixture of ehsaan/rebound/pity etc.

And while she doesn't say it, his dialogues to her at the hospital and otherwise previously ( I haven't loved you and will never love you) will obviously be at the back of her mind.

She wants him to be 100% sure, so that he doesn't get into something that he regrets, and their friendship suffers as a result. And that's why she's telling him to wait for a few days, because Arjun is an impulsive person, and his head might become clearer later.

Saanjh would obviously be the happiest person if SaaJun happens, but she wants it to happen for the right reasons.

She is no Maya, who tells Arjun that she doesn't want his love, but only wants him, and her love is enough for the two of them.

Seems reasonably logical to me.

Whatever the case...it's odd for viewers to see a character pine for a guy throughout his single days and marriage days and then reject him when he tells her that he has feelings for her...and we are very aware that she loves him...the ink on his divorce papers is not yet dry and she is already having dreams of marriage proposals...Maya wants to be with Arjun whether he loves her not...and from the way you say it it sounds as though you find that pathetic...but as you all say saanjh has not always been treated properly by Arjun...but she is willing to forget everything as long as he really loves her which is just as pathetic

Saanjh not accepting Arjun is totally normal, after long time writers are showing something reasonable. Saanjh loves arjun, obviously she will want him. But relationship or marriage is not about one person. She has more than enough reasons to doubt his love. He is impulsive, it's a fact.

And yes Maya is intimidating to many where it is needed like in office. She directly attack like ayan, Vandana, but only when she couldn't manipulate them. Ayan, Vandana knew her. She is most experienced in creating mental prison. That's what she do firstly.
She was playing victim before Arjun while setting traps behind him as backup plan. Saanjh was in guilt due to miscarriage. Arjun felt like victim only when he had to live with her 24/7. But again she became victim after rape case. he felt guilty and obligated to live with her. It's not called creating mental prison??
She didn't use power or money on Malkani, her neighbour, they supported her because she was victim in their eyes.

I'm not one to use harsh words like pathetic, but yes I do find that disappointing, disturbing and sad.

Imagine it this way

Boy 1- Girl, I know you loved me, but want to move away because I'm abusive, but I still want you.

Girl 1- Please stay away from my life, and let me be. I want to forget this chapter and move ahead.

Boy 1- No you can only be mine, no one else's. I don't need your love, I only need you, and my love is enough for the two of us.

How many supporters of Boy 1 would you be finding? You know the answer as well as I do- there would be shouts for the boy to "leave her alone" and give her "space".

From my personal POV, Saanjh shouldn't forgive Arjun because he treated her like dirt in S1 and S2. I'd say as a friend, he was a complete and utter failure in S1 & S2, only surpassed by his decision not to trust the brother he claimed to love more than his life.

But theirs has been a relationship that's lasted two decades, and that is a massive factor.

No one is saying that what Maya wants is correct...but if you recognise that it is still pathetic for Maya to want Arjun...why don't you see as it pathetic for saanjh to still want Arjun...regardless of the relationship lasting as long as it has. People like to critisize the way that Maya has treated Arjun...yet no one recognises how poorly Arjun has treated Maya...so if Maya and Arjun were opposite genders I'm not really sure if the boy would get more criticism. He left his 8 month pregnant wife hours after she returned from a mental assylum after 6 months to go see his friend...I didn't hear any criticism. Infront of his wife he called his friend his pagalpan...where's the criticism. He told his friend that he loved her and tried to kiss her...where is the criticism. His wife's hands were burnt yet he went along and hugged his friend...where is the criticism?.
