Maya in her psychotic murderous manner got herself in jail leaving whole business to hubby. Hubby diversified and got seriously rich. Maya managed to evade the noose but declared dead. Can't therefore legally challenge anything, as well, she's dead 😆 so ex-hubby and new wife carry on.
They don't even have to report her death as she's already legally dead. Very neat!

How convenient is it for everyone here to overlook Maya's monstrosity? 😕 I never wanted to see Saajun together and I would have been happy had Saanjh refused t marry Arjun. But the amount of hatred showered on her n other characters is ridiculous which makes me wonder if anyone here is capable of rational thinking? The list for Maya's crimes is endless and it starts even before Arjun came into her life. For all those who have vehemently championed Maya and claimed that she became bad coz of Arjun and Saanjh's friendship, how can u forget that she let Raajiv set himself on fire? She never had to confess her love, rather she could have told him the truth instead of letting him burn. She was a monster before and she remained a monster and she will probably die a monster. And coming to the vows, all you guys can see is that Arjun did not keep up his promises. Like really now? Arjun is not really a liekable character. He is selfish, self centered n shallow. Not a generous big hearted responsible hero that we would all admire. Maya has tried to harm his family and best friend on numerous occasions but yet he should live up to his vows. When he made those vows, did he consider there was a loophole in those vows? That he had to keep them even when his mad wife makes his life hell n kills his family including her own mother? If Maya took those promises from him should he have taken promises like 'U will not kill my mother or my brother' or 'U will not separate me from my best friend' or did he think that by making those promises he will lose everything he has? Maya never had faith in Arjun or she never loved him for that sake. He was a boy toy who had to do her every bidding. Saanjh stood by Arjun as his best friend but well she was wrong on all accounts too 🥱 Is it wrong for a guy who has a wife to have a girl as his best friend? Or does it mean that the best friend is the other woman?

If you can step out of your Maya universe, you will probably realise that the rest of the characters only behaved like humans who had their share of flaws n not villains who schemed against Maya all the time.

Maya's flaws were driven by mental illness. That's the way I see it. The cvs can spin it all they want that's how they showed the story from the start. Which is what breaks our hearts. She was just a traumatised small child and everyone around her drove her to become a monster.

Her mother will live a happily ever after because she has wanted Maya's death for a long time. She committed the biggest sin of betraying her duty as a mother to protect her child. She chose her selfish love instead.

Arjun ran away after making those vows. Not after she became a murderer. Literally as soon as she got pregnant first time. He did not try to cure his mentally ill wife from the beginning when he knew the extent of the trauma she had suffered as a child.

Saanjh I totally dislike. I guess she is a good soul but she was the thorn in ArYa's marriage and she did not have the good sense or self respect to find the boundary between love and friendship. That to me is really a horrible thing to do.

But they should have given Maya SOME happiness right? Why did they have to drive her to this state? 😭

Nope, nobody is ignoring Maya the monster. We are well aware she is one.

And you may call the other characters with human flaws, but their human mistakes, had a huge impact on a girl who has mental illness, and a history of abuse. And that's it. Their victim was maya which is unfortunately not normal at all because of what she went through.

So even if they made mistakes which affected a monster, or a normal person, that does not make them all white. They hence have a price to pay, because of the proportion of damage done.

So, so cliched and horrible this ending. I hate everyone who made a 9 year old traumatised child reach such a dreadful death. 🤬

When it has been shown that the doctor said in the court that Maya didn't have any mental illness then why are you saying she had.
The others were not white they were grey but they all got punished for their wrongs Maya on the other hand was completely black.yet she got what she wanted throughout her life and till death

Neither did she realize her mistakes nor did she get any punishment

^^^^

Punishment? As if her whole life wasn't a giant punishment already? And what? She got whatever she wanted in life??? Did she ever get any happiness at all? Any peace? Any escape from fear and trauma? Did she ever get true love?

As for what the doc said in court, there have been other docs shown on the serial that have treated Maya for extreme trauma and depression. They CLEARLY indicated at the beginning that she was mentally ill. Depression is a mental illness and she was taking medication for that. People downplay the severity and seriousness of depression but Maya was not well. Not normal. That much is clear.

And no, she was not black.

And Maya went out by effectively telling her ex husband that he would have to live with the guilt of killing her for life.

Does that sound like the dialogue of a person in true love? A person who would want her beloved to live happily in his life? Afraid not. 🤔

Not once in her death speech does she appear to even say she might have been wrong in the way she approached things nor asks for forgiveness.

She honestly believed that her method of control was the correct thing.

She realized that she was wrong, but she accepted it that way. When Arjun said that she could have chosen light, she said she chose arjun which was darkness for her. She knew all the way, but her abuse story, told her that it is that path. She followed that only, and fulfilled her promise till the end.
Of course dont expect maya to say sorry and all, she was never hiding behind mask, and she died totally in maya style.
