Any doubts still on how the Mauritius priest died or about Vikram's car accident?
And if the recent past is already revealing her true colors, hitherto untold 'Maya ka sach' makes no difference now! It is too late in the day!
She could be a very genuine victim of excessive physical abuses in her childhood and that would have altered her personality for worse!
But then, what to do? Life has not given her any opportunity so far! And the one she chose as her life & desperately clinging with a hope, is also failing her!

Maya's destiny is cruel to her & she is turning cruel to others! This is not a justification but the reality!

Since Maya is unwilling to genuinely offer herself for any worth while cure, there is no hope left for her in future!

In stead of prolonging her pathetic life further causing only misery,tension & danger to everyone including herself, the Cvs should do justice to her!

And her justice would be to give-up Arjun & face the law which may not happen!

Then, Maya, please give-up your life and spare others to live in peace!
And that will be the only good thing you can do, now , in life!

Pray and get eternal peace from your True Friend only to liberate your tortured mind!

Hey Megha 😃 Glad I came across your post and couldn't agree more with you. But right from the inception we always knew that things would eventually take an ugly turn. If you remember the very first promo that aired months before the show went on air was Maya burning down the home of a priest (it wasn't shown if the priest too died or not or maybe I don't remember 😕 ) This woman was mad enough to destroy somebody's world just because he made a prediction that Maya was not right for Arjun. Besides that one line he spoke he had done nothing to harm her. How can this woman ever be sane?

I have always been a hard core Jenny fan though I don't flaunt it like many fans in IF do where it concerns their fav celeb and I love her more for making me hate Maya 😆 That proves she has played that part to conviction. Sorry for going off track but just wanted to say that me being a Jenny fan or not should not dictate my views over Maya as a character. Maya is pure evil and there is no other word to it. I guess I understand why people sympathize with Maya or continue to find reasons to do so. Its just the perception of Indian TV shows where one needs to justify the character they have come to like. But I wonder can anyone be so blind as to still support the character despite their atrocious deeds? 😲

If you take season one for instance, we were just then introduced to Maya and most of us sought a reason to defend her. Oh she had a monstrous father who beat her and her mother. Hence she turned out to be how she is. But the subtle hints were always there. Lets take Jhanvi for instance. We all assumed she is a meek woman (which she is, no doubt) but was there more to her blind love towards Ashwin? There was this scene where Maya meets Arjun at the Shanti Spot and tells him about her past. When she comes home and tells her mom about the same, Jhanvi asks her if she told the complete truth to which Maya replies that truth is perception. That was a big giveaway if you ask me. Coz if the truth was all what she had said then the whole world would support her and nobody would spare Ashwin for what he had done. But she hid it because there was another aspect to it. Just the way you had another angle to the whole rape fiasco where it was seen that Maya made Ayaan trip onto her. Had something like that happened with Ashwin too? Ashwin was certainly a gold digger but he knew the complete truth. One that would destroy Maya's world someday. As for her pagalpanti I wonder if anyone noticed that Maya makes an attempt to take her life only when someone is around to save her. Be it the time when she slit her wrist to make Jhanvi stay with her, or when she tried to set herself on fire or jump off the building? Every time someone or the other saved her life, be it Jhanvi, Samay or Arjun. She always seeks out an excuse to defend her actions and her madness is one among them. Post the wedding everyone blamed Vandana for overreacting, so did I. Everyone felt bad when Maya cried in front of God saying that nobody gives her a chance to change. But would she really change? No. She would wear a mask that would be waiting to slip off the moment her jealousy resurfaced. Ayaan always supported her at the start. But did that stop her from separating the two brothers. I get why she isolated Arjun from Vandana. I get it with Saanjh bcoz she always felt insecured of Arjun's friendship with her. There I won't blame her entirely coz Saanjh too had overstepped the threshold at times. But what of Ayaan who adored his Bhabhi and condemned his own mother for not treating her well?

And then comes S2 where u can see how she has turned life hell for Arjun. Arjun seeks solace in the temporary time he spends with his estranged family but what does that cost them? Ayaan is accused of rape and Maya orchestrates the whole thing. And then I see some Maya fanatics pointing out that Ayaan would have raped her anyways 🥱 And here I want to ask them how freaking blind can you get? 🤣 Maya drugs Arjun and takes him away forcibly. Ayaan who has just then got to know about the truth behind his brother's wedding sets out to rescue him. Maya locks him and deliberately places the key inside her corset goading Ayaan to see if he oversteps the line of dignity to reach out to his brother. All Ayaan wanted at that time was to free his brother and he made an attempt to take out the key. So he became a rapist for that? 😲 Agreed he shouldn't have used force on her but had Maya left any other choice? All that kept him away from his tortured brother was the key and look at the price poor Ayaan paid for it? Maya cleverly took the footage from one camera alone that focused on the view of Ayaan tripping over Maya but not the one where she made him trip on her and accused him of rape. That very act made me feel disgusted with her. Then comes Samay.

Samay defined crazy at an altogether different level 😆 And well you have many reasons to despise him (I certainly do) but Maya is not one among them 😆 As in I don't despise him for anything he did with her. He let this deranged woman write the tale of his own destruction. As much as the fanatics would like to point out Samay used Maya when she approached him for his help all those years ago, please observe clearly. Maya had a choice. The choice between her dignity and her right to the company. Neither Ashwin nor Maya deserved to hold the reigns of the company. Ashwin since he was an usurper and Maya as she was not mentally stable. Maya willingly gave in to Samay's whims to help her get back the company and it was her choice to let Samay use her. Samay did not force himself on her (though that doesn't redeem him here for he was still being a pervert to use a girl's helplessness against her) When her work was done she wanted to get Samay off her back but at what cost? She let him burn as he trusted in her blindly to save him just the way he had saved her. And in S2 he was bashed for blackmailing Maya. Really now? This woman deserved every bit of terror he brought in her life because she had started all of it in the first place. For all those of you jumping in to defend Maya, do you have an explanation for Maya allowing Samay to give her love bites or tearing into her flesh to accuse an innocent of rape? 🤢 Even when Samay blackmailed Maya she had a choice. Choice to do his bidding or the choice to save herself by letting the truth out. But what does she choose again? Hide the truth. Should such a person ever be given a chance to redeem at all? 🤢 Never for once did she feel guilty for Prem's death.

And can there be anything more horrible than her sin of trying to kill her own mother twice? Just because her mother couldn't deal with the web of lies Maya had spun. Was she trying to support Ashwin? No, she was only trying to stop Maya from impersonating her as her husband's killer. Maya needs to have an obsession in her life at all times to survive. First it was Jhanvi and after she found Arjun, he became her new obsession and she didn't hesitate before trying to dispose off Jhanvi. The 2nd attempt was even more cruel. Jhanvi is bound to a wheelchair, unable to do anything and she wanted to kill a helpless woman and all for what? To gain sympathy from her husband who was consoling his best friend for her father's death? 🤢 And the manner in which she terrorized Vandana cannot be justified 👎🏼 Maya couldn't have stooped any lower but then again she manages to surprise me 😆

Coming back to Samay, everyone happily blames him but what of the fact that Maya gave him false hopes of winning her affection before making him do all those terrible things to Ayaan, Saanjh and her family? Maya should have expected Samay to retaliate once her betrayal came to the fore. I feel no pity for her but I do feel sorry for the child in her womb for being conceived inside her. This woman will not think twice before sacrificing the child in the face of her madness and worse if she passes on her madness the kid will turn into another criminal like herself.

Maya deserves to be in only one place and that is the prison like you rightly pointed it out. I hope Maya meets the worst possible end in the show. I am guessing Vandy is next in line to die and I feel sorry for Ayaan So full of life and positivity and all reduced to nothing coz of Maya 🤢

As for Arjun there was nothing particularly pleasing about him and I wonder why the women in his life, be it his step mom, bestie or wife lavishly obsess over him 🤣 Neither was a good son, nor a good brother or a friend. Saanjh is annoying true but I find it funny when Maya fans bash her for anything and everything 😆 Like Saanjh is the reason behind all the mess caused by Maya 🤣 I come here hoping to see people discuss the storyline and characterization but all I see is mindless bashing or blind endorsement of certain character's (be it Maya or Saanjh) actions.

I was thinking wasn't this show supposed to be different from the current running shows. But IMO Beyhadh looks exactly same like the other daily soaps going on the other channels run by other PHs.

Basically in every show, the villain / anti heroes never loose.

Protagonists / Heroins with good intentions but flop plans never win.

Male leads are always dumb.

Above is the common thing I have witnessed in almost all the shows.

Same is going on in Beyhadh

Maya, antagonist / anti hero / villain /vamp or whatever we can call her never ever looses. 🤪

Saanjh, the protagonist makes flop plans and never wins. 🤪

Arjun is always lost in the world of his own. Was never aware of whats going around and will never be aware of his surroundings in the centuries to come..🤪

Every other show drags and they are also dragging.

Just one difference is there. They are selling their product in the name of the villain.. Its like renaming Kumkum Bhagya as " Aliya or Tanu ke atrangi kisse " or Yeh Hai Mohobbaten to " Shagun ki Mohobbaten " (Sorry I dnt hav the info of their recent villains 😆 ).

Basically what I am trying to say is that their content is more or less exactly the same, just the packaging is different.

Had they kept Maya the same no nonsense businesswoman who had a beyhadh urge for survival and a grey character who makes mistakes may be even huge, was at least not a criminal but a human, then may be this show wud have been different..

In that case the female lead also wud have come out as a fresh character who lived for herself and her dignity unlike the mahaan impractical FLs we mostly have. 🤔

People often forget to differentiate between a character and an actor..their fondness for the actor makes them justify every single action of the character

It is good to see that a Jenny fan can criticize Maya and can point out her wrong deeds.

I pretty much agree with everything you have said.

And yes my heart breaks for Ayaan..when the show started he was such a pampered good boy , always cheerful and full of life..who would have thought that he would suffer so much in life.

I wonder if he will survive or not

And yes Vandana will be next to go..I think she might find out that Maya did Ayaan's accident
