Maya making portrait in asylum of another man wouldn't make sense, na. She painted Arjun's face with her blood before and that didn't exactly resemble him too. So we can let this slide I guess.

And, no one monitored what Maya was doing in the asylum! She not only evaded taking medicines, even had the time to make a portrayal of Arjun, out of her tablets!

No one would like to go & get admitted there for cure, if that is the state of affairs, in the asylum!

Well, in regards to her getting admitted in asylum. She had no other option I guess. Arjun was going to leave her forever, he was not ready to put up with her anymore even for the baby's sake. So she had to think fast. She came up with this pretense that she is all changed up and evolved.

Not taking tabs., is under this mentality that she doesn't want to change. Maybe she thinks if she got cured her Beyhadh love would be diminished or maybe she can't be cured at all. Gotta watch the show to know more.

Accordingly Maya doesn't believe she is wrong, she needs any help or treatment. Hence she has to developed that "Want". So basically, she cannot change yet. Asylums shown on television are often really hyped.. Its just a way that mental illness and being called mad is mocked. Most people to be tagged as Mad need not act like a kid or stupid. Asylums are for people who need long term treatment and no one is ready to risk it at their own home.

Medicines are of several forms to treat psychological symptoms.. They might not be diseases. Anti Depressent, anti anxiety, some meds to keep them calm and etc. So I guess Maya had never taken pills. It must have been made of about 1000 pills? Sounds fair... If we assume 3 pills 3 times for 4 months... Or something...
