But in my theory, she didn't welcome his offer because she herself wants to do the honors. I believe her to be a psychopath(I might put up my analysis in separate post soon). Let us see what happens on monday! If she persuades samay to stick to their original plan starting from London days, it makes some sense with continuity of some idea to keep Arjun away from Saanjh as she has still good control over Samay!
Losing Samay is loss of time & strategy to fix Saanjh-Arjun problem once and for all!

But in all these Ayaan too gets out of jail and we saw from spoiler pics that Maya is still jst 8-9 months pregnant.

thus for Ayaan to b out of jail, Maya either needs to b exposed (which is unlikely) or she might have made some deal with Saanjh with regards to Samay.

As maya said in yesterday's episode that Samay needs to b punished, so I guess she will convince Saanjh somehow, put up a face of seeking redemption for sake of her unborn child (or Arjun might do so for Maya) and free Ayaan in lieu of giving her the proofs of Samay killing prem.

But thn her insecurity regarding Saanjh wud not go. Saanjh wud still b a threat to her.

So I guess she will prove Saanjh has become pagal due to her father's death, put Samaay out of her way by killing him and shifting blame on "pagal" Saanjh, wud show false sympathy and drop case against Ayaan. tht way she can gain sympathy and trust of Arjun, keep Ayaan and Vandana at bay (as the charges r not proved wrong and she can still b a potential threat to Ayaan-vandana) and permanently remove Saanjh from Arjun's life..

phase 3 might b paytime for Maya with both Samay and Saanjh making a come back to collect their over dues!

Ayaan can't come out of jail without following a legal process! That makes any private deals difficult!
The court will need good explanation for Ayaan's DNA findings on injury marks of Maya!

Yes, loosing Samay at this point, feels unnecessary. I agree. Even I said earlier, that he gotta survive to stay relevant in the story.

But why I feel she might attack him now or later in near future is because the way she was disgusted by his touch speaks volumes to me. And if she just went there to assure his shadhi, then her monologues won't make sense at all (IMO).

What I feel is, she has impulsive thoughts. She couldn't sleep or wasn't her cool collected self, because she was deeply disturbed by the way Samay revolted. That's why she said "AB TUMHE CONTROL KARNE KE LIYE, PYAAR KE DOKHE KE NAHI, SAZAA KI SAZISH KARNI PADEGI" and "MAIN TUMHE SAZAA DENE AA RAHI HOON" .She wasn't in control, that's what drove her over the edge.

I know this might feel quite stubborn on my part, but these impulsive thoughts and the need to be always in control(of her mental feelings or any physical situation/plans) are signs of her being a psychopath.

CVs are hell bent on establishing her character as psychopath IMO. They are dropping hints in every episode.

You could be right in the sense, Maya is definitely losing patience with him & wants to 'discipline' him!
Maya pointed her gun twice before, once to threaten samay but actually ended up giving a 'lift' or free ride in the trunk of her car!
The other occasion she pulled the trigger of her gun, only to misdirect somewhere!
Her carrying gun this time could be to make sure that she can have a civil talk with this mad dog!
Who knows? Maya could double cross & send Samay to Jail for Prem's murder once the shadhi gets over! She will have a double relief from both Saanjh & Samay, with an additional bonus of seeing the sufferings/pain of Saanjh for marrying her own father's murderer!
