Maya is shocked which escalates to being furious as she had resolved to keep Arjun by her side by being "good"

Precap: Samay and Maya an argument where she tries to screw him for killing Prem "maut ka mohtag laye ho tum, kyun?" or something along the lines of that but is stopped midsentence by Samay as he blames her for using him and making him commit a murder.

Why does Arjun get informed about Prem's death?
Has he not still taken clean-break from Mathurs?
Maya getting Shocked! Amazing! Does it really concern her, even if she did not play dirty this time?

Prem is definitely dead.

Samay is a dumb obsessive man who doesn't apply his brains at all...he is impulsive and that is why he killed Prem.

And he will soon go rogue and will be out of control and Maya did a big mistake of manipulating and using Samay for her own gains and this will come back and bite Maya this time around.

Samay is not calucative like Maya...he is very impulsive and does things in the fit of the moment...he will soon prove to be a liability and a threat for Maya and Maya might even kill him at some point of the story.

Also today first I thought that Maya might try to be good and try to get better but the moment she said that no matter how many people die I will not let Arjun go anywhere it was pretty clear to me that she is still the same and is going to go back to her old ways soon and as usual will blame someone for her actions.

She was not concerned that Prem died but she was more concerned that Arjun might leave her if he finds out that she is still on the bad side.

Arjun gets informed, courtesy Vandana. He, yet again acted suspicious in front of Maya and did not tell her who was calling, only later, after hanging up he tells her. Maya was oblivious though, so it doesn't really matter.

Maya gets shocked as she puts two and two together that Samay killed him for her. She gets angry as this weird(at least to her, I can't call it unfortunate) turn of events will sabotage her will to get better. She doesn't really give a shit about Prem, according to me.

Khushi, the slippers fell off when he was struggling with Samay. Prem's definitely dead.

And I think these slippers will trap Maya and Samay. No idea why he hid them though. Probably to remove any evidence of prem's struggle with him prior to his death.
