This show is full of twists and turns and who knows Maya being revealed as Ashwin's 'murderer' may turn out to be false. and it is too predictable to know that Maya is the 'murderer.' Nothing interesting will be left to see if this happens.

May be someone whom we never suspected for even a second may turn out to be the murderer at the end of the show.

May be Ashwin is still alive.

Anything can happen in a fictional show.

Au contraire, it makes a lot of sense, especially given the hints the CV's have dropped till now.

The CV's could still potentially make Samay the killer to assuage a section of the audience, but reckon it should 99% Maya.

Also, the Times of India seems to suggest that Maya is the killer

Maya reminds Janvi of how she killed Ashwin and tells her that Arjun should never find out about it. Later, Vandana asks Saanjh to help her find evidence against Maya

Murder should have a motive and if this show is still logical then only two people would have had the motive for Ashwin's murder, Maya or Janvi. Janvi didn't kill him for all those so why would she suddenly do that on wedding.
Samay again wouldn't make sense because he was not even there in season 1. They could somehow show him doing the dirty job but again it would end up being linked to Maya only.

Can this show afford another character with psychotic, murderer tendencies? I am not so sure about that. I differ on your opinion about whether the show is no more interesting. As a matter of fact, they are only showing what they promised. Its just that people had probably expected too much from Maya, which they shouldn't have.

The camel is burdened with a huge heap of straws!

Such as . . .

Maya's complicity in framing Ayaan, in the rape case.
Vandana's physical torture story
Maya -Samay's unholy nexus
Maya's plan to ruin Shaanj by planting Samay in her life
Candid admission of murdering Ashwin

Maya has an unending list of sins & crimes which are coming to light one after other, in the run-up to build a huge climax, when the phase 2 ends!!

What is going to be the proverbial last straw that is going to break Arujn's . . . er . . .camel's back?!

Will the camel's back ever break?
Or, Maya will continue to take her happy ride!

That is the suspense awaiting us, now!
