Maya had cctvs installed before or after marriage?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I have a faint vision of maya checking her phone in the very initial episodes for footages of her home, (most probably dining hall) to see what her mom was doing at home while she was in office. Her mother was seen eating.

Was their ANY such thing you remember? Or is it me who is having wrong memories? Of maya already having cctvs installed in her house from day1 and not in the three years drastically?

I MAYBE EXTREMELY WRONG. So I want to get my facts corrected.

YES. I remembered that particular detail quite well but since I didn't want to speak without a shred of evidence to support that detail just from my memory. Here's the episode.

18:14 onwards, Maya first checks the footage of her house and then the office. Footage 1 shows Jhanvi sleeping, footage 2 shows the dining area, footage 3 shows the hall and then the last footage was office one where Arjun's partying in the office with his coworkers.

Since we're discussing the fact that Maya had CCTV's installed in her home right from the beginning. Of course, back then her intention was that of goodwill; to safeguard Jhanvi and herself from Ashwin or any other possible thread. The same good intention/goodwill has now though turned into a bad one. The only detail that perhaps can still be debated is whether or not she had cameras installed in the bathroom's (her room/Arjun-Maya's room as of now) right from the beginning as well or not. Personally, I'd like to think not.

Somebody pls explain this desperate person... Who said maya never installed CCTV b4 wedding?? She always did since epi 1.

My argument was w.r.t Arjun n not jhanvi. Lol. My only point Maya never personally monitored/ put CCTV camera at arjuns house. Before n immediately after wedding. It was only in those 3 yrs. . she monitored him even in his loo. Ok??!! This is drastic change in her. Something has happened in 3 yrs if wedlock

Obviously, Maya will monitor Arjun's loo only in her own house where she has complete control...how could she have done it at Sharma house???😕😆

She before marriage also used to check on people and her mom through CCTV cameras, she after marriage did the same with Arjun...She kept tabs on him

This is not a drastic change...IT IS A GRADUAL CHANGE in my opinion...Maya always wanted to stay in control of things. that has been her habit, she has trust issues and likes to keep an eye on everything around her...Now her insecurity, her obsession to stay in control has increased over the period of time.

It is not that she never used CCTV footage or had complete faith on people and now all of a sudden has developed trust issues...If that was the case then one can call it DRASTIC

So, no what we are seeing right now is not a drastic change but a gradual change where Maya's fear insecurities have increased over the course of time

Also as far as placing CCTV cameras in Arjun's house...I am not sure how long she stayed there to install cameras 😆 and would Vandana have allowed Maya to install them 😆 Maya is an intelligent manipulator not a dumb woman.

If there's confusion over whether or not Maya had CCTV's in bathroom as well, this should clear that up. Arjun's confession/recount of his life with Maya in the last 3 years. 15:20 onwards.

I don't even know how this post sounds desperate. Never for once I mentioned the above person's name or dragged some argument here. I was crossed in another thread not by this single person but by someone else too, but she's alone taking things on her head. I just needed to clarify things.

You know what? Some people who support maya incessantly understand maya and her ways the LEAST. Such a pity.
