I always thought of him as the most decent of all the characters here. He is being blasted both in the show and in various forums and social media for imaginary reasons like he does not love Maya, he only wants her money, he is disloyal, etc. His only problem is that since he is not worldly wise he does behave in an immature manner at times.
Maya was right when Maya said to Ganesh ji in season 1 that Arjun is very 'bhola' and Saanjh is also right in saying that he is a 'duffer'. And it is natural that he would blurt out his feelings at times to his own dear ones like his brother.
I never doubted his honesty and his love for Maya. His show of hatred for Maya in the initial episodes of season 2 were due to his frustrations at not being able to do anything. So my trust in Arjun got vindicated yesterday when he told Vandana that he loves Maya.
No one would want to be in Arjun's situation. Kudos to him that he has kept his sanity intact till now. It's natural. It has not been shown whether he talked to Maya about her condition and suggested professional help. If not he needs to do this now. And if yes and if Maya has refused to listen to him, he should force her now before things get worse. Maya needs professional help to heal and Arjun has to become strong to remain by the side of his wife whom he has never stopped loving.
