Get a restraining order. And if I were as rich as Maya, would have got out of the country and settled in some European country where they have better facilities for abused children.

Lilac, I beg to differ...

Maya's major problems started in early childhood...At 9 years, a child is really helpless n totally dependent on parents for protection, for food, for shelter, for basically anything n everything...Hence ,it is practically impossible for a child so small to take the measure you have suggested...

It was Maya's sheer bad luck that she had an inhuman father n a totally cowardly n mentally ill mother ...One abused her n the other failed to protect her...

If anyone could have helped Maya at 9, it was ONLY Jhanvi...No one else, imo...N Maya knows that...Hence though she loves her mother in her own twisted way, she has never really forgiven Jhanvi either...N rightly so ...😊

Once she was older, Maya tightly threw Ashwin out of their lives...But by then, her illness had become deep-rooted.

Well, I did not intend to be rude but if you have got offended, I'm sorry. I just asked you casually. I am not telling you to justify or criticize her. I only want your view how you what would you do as a next step if things become worse?

Can you tell me exactly why ashwin tortured maya? I guess I missed the reason. Or hasn't the reason been shown ever?

Yes, Maya doesn't have the right to keep Jhanvi in a cage (she is her daughter, she save Jhanvi's life but who cares?), Maya was supposed to release this woman a long time ago. Let Ashwin kill Jhanvi. Maya would be freed from all this

The only way that a child can have, except for own death, is to run! Just run and never look back

I get it Khushi. I should have made it clearer that I wasn't talking about the child Maya but the Maya who caged Jhanvi well after turning an adult. Ofc a 9 yr old child is totally helpless and can't do without parents but when she turned 15-16, or even 18, she should have known better. I mean she's a fairly bright girl and well educated too. On top of that she belonged to the top most class of the society.

I am not sure if I missed it but I always wanted to ask why Maya never tried to move out of the country when she got control of her own life and was already the head honcho of her business? 😕 Ashwin used to stalk and scare her till his very last day and I am guessing he was dependent on her money too, so why she never thought going out of reach? Has this been explained or is this a major blooper on the Cv's part?!

At 9 year old I couldnt have done much. But at a later stage if my mom behaves like Jhanvi going now and then with the father who had tortured me, the best way is to leave her and move abroad the way some other member is saying.
Yes Maya wanted Jhanvi as she was scared to be alone, even when she grew up she was a child who needed security, who craved for security. When her mother didnt give her that, as at every given oppourtunity she went back to Ashwin leaving her she physically locked her up never realizing you can shut out a person's emotions unless they realize what needs to be protected. Her talk to Lord Ganesha always shows the little girl in her who wants to be loved and protected.

Then came Arjun. When he stood in front of her and fought Ashwin she thought he will protect her. When he told he doesnt want to hear her past when she was about to tell it, she felt happy. She thought she can start a new life. Vandana destroyed it. Saanjh added insult to injury as Arjun started lying to her and go for his best friend. Once again she felt insecure. He broke promises. She put physical controls. Now things are in a very advanced stage. What Maya needs is love from someone, unconditional love, a person who will choose her no matter what, a person who will take trouble for her sake. A person who will make her believe goodness exists.

Because in Maya the innate goodness exists. Her principles exists. But these are overshadowed by all her fear, insecurities and actions stemming out of those.

Well The reality is I will turn into a character which will resemble Maya.. Many people may say just complain to police and done with it.. What they're forgetting is that She was being abused from the childhood.. If you're an adult, you could easily go to police because you know it's wrong... But as a child you don't know any better.. Its the age of learning about the world and if you're abused, that'll always present in you as a scar.. Many lucky people or children gets the needed attention and treatment and gets a chance of escaping it... You can't forget the abuse, all you can do is move on.. That's why childhood is precious, you have to be careful because it's the foundation of their character.. Well why she didn't talk about it after becoming a teenager, the sad truth is most of the abusive cases as far as i know don't like to speak about it,.. they don't even want to admit they were abused.. They guard it as a secret.. Yet I am not saying What the adult Maya does is right... but child maya deserved better .

I agree she have no other option than suffer till she turn mature...and I feel full sympathy towards her...that's is why I used to feel she need someones love to cure her more than anything...but after watching her attitude towards arjun...I feel she seriously need medical care more than anything...I got it she suffered a lot but that doesn't give her right to torture other innocent people...it's not arjun's fault that maya had a distrub childhood...
