Not trying to create fights. Just saying what I feel because I saw some people justifying Aayan. Well, I have a different interpretation. The way Aayan was looking at Maya, she did not feel comfortable. Maya has this split personality kinda problem, sometime she is strong and kick ass and in between, she become this scared 9 year. (That's my observation till now, you have all rights to disagree). It was this moment, he was coming close to her, that's why she hold her hands like that. As you said, we are saying by what we are seeing but one thing I feel is very clear and there should not be doubt on that, Aayan attempted to rape Maya (she may planed everything but getting assaulted like this is what she didn't expect from him) and now lying to save himself.

Of course we all go by what we took out of what we saw.

The reasons why I think it was staged. Maya tied Arjun up and locked him but then freed him in the morning. She knew Ayan was coming. Maya is excellent in gauging others reactions like we have seen in the past. She knew how Ayan would react if he sees his brother tied up like that. Her dialogue you appear smart but you are not. She was setting up a trap for Ayan.of course these are my opinions based on how I understood Maya's characterization. I could be wrong. Waiting for the next episodes to clarify whether it was really a rape attempt. One thing for sure is there was physical assault involved. I am just not convinced of a rape attempt.

The scene has been written in a way that it will be an open ended case..Yesterday, I was very sure that Maya will stage everything somewhat like Amy did , to trap Collins.. But Collins had feelings for Amy so he was lured.. Amy knew it and took advantage of that.. Here Maya was unaware of Ayaan's drunk state and the ''extent'' of his anger since she doesn't know what all Arjun told Ayaan. She only saw Ayaan following them in bike and the only way she could win against Ayaan was by ''playing the so called women card''.. She had anticipated he will barge in and try to use force to take Arjun away.. Thats why she sedated Arjun, tied him up to buy time to call in police and get him arrested on charges of trespassing and at the max physical assault, coz she was ready for it.. BUT she was not ready for what happened today.. her shock post the incident was genuine even if her suicide attempt to get Arjun's sympathy was not..

I will not say that Maya was staging this as they didn't give any hint at the same time they clearly showed that r**e was the last thing in Ayan's mind he just was trying to take the keys

Why did he rip her sleeves and the lower dress? Obviously keys won't be hidden there. He did wrong. Period.

What Maya id doing/done to Arjun is wrong. She should have left him the day he began to flirt with other girls. Arjun is not worthy of her. So she should let him go. If I liked anyone besides Maya in this track, it was Ayaan. But he has disappointed me today. She had kept the key at the place where she knows. Ripping her clothes & trying to kiss/bite her neck is little too much. First of all, she is of his elder sister's age & secondly she is still Arjun's wife. Under no circumstances, he has got any right to do this to a woman.

PS: I'm not justifying ayan's action. whatever he did (attempt rape or not) is NOT RIGHT under any circumstances. Maya's actions towards arjun should not be the excuse. The felt his shocked expression to be genuine

Probably the latter. He wanted to rescue his brother and wanted to harm his brother's kidnapper, but had no sexual intent.

For my pov it was like he cudn't believe what he had done, but d very next minute he says maine kuch nahi kiya looked fake, coz he did do things.

Do you understand what the word "Rape" actually means? I am sorry but the way you say that Maya was trying to rape Arjun in the ambulance over and over is making no sense at all. In what part of the episode did they show her trying to attack him? Just coz she hugged him and slept on his chest that was rape?

But when Ayaan tore her clothes, tore the bottom of her dress, pushed her to the ground, told her he will "Make sure she can't show her face to anyone", THAT was just at best a physical assault and in no way sexual assault?

Maya's behavior is extreme and wrong any day. But how you continue to repeat the rape allegation towards Maya's attempts to get physically close to Arjun is meaningless. (Yes he was drugged and yes it was wrong. But she didn't drug him to rape him. If that was the case they would have shown her do that before as well). She has never been shown to drug him before. They were in an "Ambulance" and she had an injection at hand and she used it to drug him so he won't leave. Then she tied him to the bed and locked the doors. While she is wrong to do so, I don't think her "Intention" was to sexually violate him.

Ayaan also probably didn't come with the "Intent" to do sexual assault but in the end that is what it ended up looking like. Especially because of the things he said to threaten her. Ayaan's attack looked like a sexual assault because of the way it took place, his words and how he tore her clothes and even bit her neck. Saving his brother is not a good enough justification. He could have called the police after what he saw through that keyhole. Or even taken a picture of it. Attacking Maya was stupid at worst. If Maya had hoped to frame him, he totally played into her hands.
