I wanted to write a lot about (rather against) the precap. I have no idea what Ayan is actually trying to do. If he's trying to rape maya, that's the world's craziest and sickest idea ever. But since I really can't just comment on a 3 second pre cap, I am dropping it.

Arjun used the word 'psycho' for the first time. And being a sheer noticeable point, Maya didn't even stir. So surely the fact is that either maybe she's aware that she's sick (like some here doubted) , and ignores the fact that arjun considers her a psychotic (she knew one day after marriage that would happen),

or she believes that she's a bit eccentric and that's what is considered madness by the world and arjun though is more like rest of the world thinking this way, yet she loves arjun and being falsely alleged by arjun of anything and everything at all too, she can keep doing so.

Because according to her, apart from her everyone in world is trying to trap arjun, do bad to arjun. Yet very contradictorily she never protests on the floor when people allege arjun falsely of torturing her. Even if she does, she makes it appear as if even though she's tortured, she loves him a lot and cannot hear bad against him. Or rather maybe she believes that arjun is the one who's mentally torturing her by trying to leave her. And then at certain moments of self realisation, she hurts herself. Or manipulatively does so only to hold back arjun. The second possibility is more because self realisation would have done greater good to everyone, even momentary ones.

Even after three years of marriage she has major trust issues, though the viewers clearly know arjun isn't romantically attracted to Saanjh, thus question doesn't really arise on his loyalty. Maya should realise that just like she's loyal to her love, her love must be too. But maya doesn't realise that because she knows arjun doesn't love her anymore, and she's not ready to accept that. Here comes the issue of self respect. Maya's mental illness surpasses her self respect. That's normal for people this way.

Maya has pacified herself that she's tied to arjun, be it with hatred. And she makes sure that she's the only one who remains tied to him in a relationship of any form, no one else is.

In all Maya considers herself a mentally tortured soul, who knows how to stay in love with a single person althrough. If the person falls out of love..it's the person's fault. She'll try her best to keep him rooted. Her best. And she'll not let the world blame him too for 'falling out of love', not because she realises who's the real one being tortured, but because she's ready to forgive him even for not loving her, but that doesn't mean she'll stop loving him too...
