Why did Saanjh come to the marriage?

Well, this is my first post here.
Really a silent reader of the posts here, I do kind of reply once in a while but i am mostly silent. but today I just couldn't resist posting this.


Can someone tell me why did Saanjh come to the marriage first of all?
If she had to do all the sacrificing drama and then leave?

I mean one could argue to no ends that that's how she is, but really? I don't see how.

W*F. I mean. Its obvious Arjun would stop her, but what was the point of doing that butt loads of drama and then pretending to leave saying this is all I could do and see ? I don't reckon anyone asking her to come and be Arya's cupid.

Arjun, I have nothing to say about him right now. Hugely disappointed. Even if he wanted to patch up with his friend, he could have saved it for some other moment than leaving your bride like she is a effin no body, and then going and confessing your love to your bestie. I mean really?
If i was in Maya's place, I would leave that altar right then asking the friends to sort out their issues than sitting there watching their reunion. I felt terrible for Maya.

People call Maya psycho, selfish and what not, let's just go back and see who really is. Her love is selfless, it just showed in the moment she sat there heart broken yet waiting for Arjun.
i was rather happy when she came back to her real self, taking things in control. i would rather see this than a heart broken Maya.

She should have left, but then knowing her love for Arjun, I wouldn't expect her to.

Saanjh, well, they have tried too hard to portray her as this selfless, loving person, she clearly is not.

It was proven today .You come to the marriage, do butt loads of drama uniting the two lovers, almost reminding them and viewers of your love which is obviously unrequited like every 2 minutes ( some selflessness), and then just leave saying i have done what i needed to and i can't take it anymore, so basically making them guilty somewhere. This was not my place to be, yet I am here but I will make sure everyone knows of it.

Did anyone ask her to come and unite Arya? Like so lame.
If you are so into sacrifice drama, then don't make it so obvious that you're doing it just to look good, but obviously, you don't care about anyone but yourself when you drive others to guilt.

So she decides to do some drama and leave and Arjun stops her leaving Maya.

LOL. Aayi hi kyun?

Really pissed at the creatives,more than Arya's marriage this looked like an altar for Saanjh's sacrificial drama.
I swear they could have saved it for any other day than ruining the marriage. It was something many were looking forward to given the promising promo.

Hugely disappointed.

PS : I have to say this..RIP Channa Mereya. I feel the worst for that song..honestly, they could have saved the drama of that song..

None of the characters in the show all goody two shoes no matter what they say or do... atleast Maya does not pretend .. Wasn't sure from the beginning if Saanjh wanted to be part of the wedding just like everyone else, unhappy but still part of the ceremonies for Arjun's sake.. or she wanted to be part of the wedding only if Arjun pleads her .. coz she was waiting to be invited for the baraat... then today again after establishing infront of the world that 1.) she is sacrificing her love 2.) she is as important for Arjun as Maya is..maybe even more otherwise where will you find a groom who leaves his stunning bride who he claims to love so much, at the mandap and have bestie union while bride is sitting there abandoned.. alone and feeling insignificant on her own big day.

As for Saanjh. Absolutely. She is way too egoistic to be called selfless.
At every given point she was waiting he will come and plead to her, atleast he showed emotions of wanting her, she on the other side only wanted to satisfy her ego, where he comes and pleads her.

And today, it was the last nail in the coffin for me when its about her character.
Fine, she united them, even though neither of them asked her to and the funnier part being, they didn't even need anything of that sort. Maya would have married arjun, with or without saajh. As if the whole drama wasn't enough, she made sure everyone knew of her sacrifice, literally driving them to guilt and it worked for her, Arjun left Maya at the altar and went after her.

I would call her a master player, getting her work done under the mask of innocence.
and people hate maya.. some joke! 😆

I really wished Maya left, but knowing her, I know she never would.
Well, the creatives effort of the ME was a complete disaster! 😆

Hi I Completely agree with you. Saanjh was unnecessary had she not come in the wedding all that tamasha/nautanki could have easily been avoided.

Honestly if she even didn't come our maya baby wud have married but she had to come & make some sympathy drama na..

Maya would have eventually come out of her room automatically since she Loves Arjun Beyhadhly.

But today's episode was symbolic. It symbolised that the friendship between Arjun and Saanjh will set alight ArYa's married life. Will bring a lot of problems. And ArYa are both equally responsible to let Saanjh interfere in their life. It was Maya at first who had stopped Saanjh from going away from the wedding then later Arjun stopped. So both are responsible.

Saanjh doesn't trust Maya and that is evident. I think that's the only reason why she came - or else who would have stopped ArYa from taking that stupid oath? I agree - everything else was melodrama for the sake of this 'maha' episode.

I'm frustrated with today's episode. I agree it totally looked like saanjh ka nautanki mahanata than arYa marriage.

To be honest, she never trusted Maya.
It was Arjun's anger which might have kept her off the bay from digging more into Maya & today she had all the reasons to not trust, given the over dramatic reaction from Vandana asking her to save Arjun, as if Maya was about to kill him right at the altar. 😆

Even if they did bring her, it was cringe worthy, the melo drama, she singing for him, professing her love for him at the marriage, of all the places. Even if she did have an outburst, his marriage was not the place for it, basically pushing him into guilt. None of her words today or actions stood by what she has been portrayed so far - selfless.

She rather looked the utmost selfish.
But I can see through the vachan part, but they could have done that with Arjun himself altering it, rather than shoving heaps of Saanjh's drama justifying it with the altered vachan.

Because in all that, they made a joke of the entire base of Arya's marriage. He left Maya at the altar & went after Saanjh, that's basically ridiculing all the vachans they took over these days.🥱
Even if he doesn't love Saanjh, more in a platonic way, he did prioritize her over Maya at the altar, which is like killing the whole concept of the marriage.

Truly, that was too much of melodrama for a Maha episode, where supposedly, the couple in love were to get married. LOL, the creatives bombed this one up real bad.
