Today's episode made it clear that Vandana is well aware of how toxic growing up with Ashwin and Jhanvi must have been for Maya. But she is making the mistake of assuming that Maya is exactly like them and cannot change if she starts living in a happy household. Vandana has held bitterness in her heart for a while now, ever since Arjun became friends with Maya. She even brought this up with Suman, and they both agreed that they needed to eliminate Maya from Arjun and Saanjh's lives.

When you already hold a person responsible for your loved one's heartache (in this case Saanjh, who Vandana adores), then you are more likely to believe the worst about them. Subconsciously, it helps you justify and validate your hatred for that person.

Agree with you. Vandana is deliberately testing Maya's patience. If Arjun had married Saanjh, she would not have done that. She behaves as if Maya made Arjun cheat on Saanjh.

There are many unexpected and disappointing things in this episode. The only consolation part is Arya scenes, Saanjh and Ayaan standing for Arya.

Maya enters the house but the glass pricks her and she gets hurt. Arjun and Saanjh are concern about her. It definitely looks like Maya and Saanjh have patched up their differences. Saanjh consoles Maya and said the one who loves Arjun will have the right to get the family's love. Maya told Saanjh that she too loves Arjun. Maya has been honest here to admit that she is not fit for getting MIL's love but she desires the love that Saanjh gets. Maya has broken the glass and ate the chilies. Even a normal person tends to do this when they get envious of someone. So I don't call that as completely abnormal. If Arjun had fallen for Maya and had seen her dancing with her best male friend, he too would have reacted the same way. Maya is genuinely trying to win the family's love to fit the bill of a daughter-in-law. She wants to forget all that happened and move on in her life but Vandana is not allowing that to happen. Arjun knows what Maya is lacking and he wants Vandana to give her that love which she wants so Maya can experience what true love is and that will change her. But Vandana is not fulfilling the duties of a mother.

Saanjh has been supportive to Maya and Arjun till now. I hope the CVs retain her like that. I hope they don't butcher her character.

Arjun is standing for Maya like a rock against all the odds. He once again shut Vandana up when she was taunting Maya. I am looking forward to Arjun and Maya to make their relationship stronger.

Vandana and her superstitions. It seems that she does not want to come out of it. For one moment I thought that Maya was really coming to Vandana and threatening her to accept her but was relieved when it was her dream. But if Vandana crosses her limits, it will certainly not be good for her. Even Arjun will come back to square one. Though she wants to accept Maya and bless her, she is hesitant to do that only because of the mindset that she has got. She is not even bothered to ask Jhanvi about Maya so she gets to know the other side of the story.

Maya wouldnt have faced this much problem if her mother had taken a stand for her child. If she was not lost beyhadh in the so called love of her husband.

Vandana is going to cross limits for the beyhadh love of her son or so she thinks. But she doesnt understand her son needs her, Maya and Saanjh.

Saanjh is moving towards that realization she needs to coexist with Maya in Arjun's life and Maya is also trying to accept she needs to co exist with Saanjh as for duffer, dusky is important.

But will Vandana allow these 2 girls to co exist or she will drive the wedge between them with her antics. Ashwin holds his spell on Vandana. And I am sure she will drive Maya crazy sooner or later.

I stopped the video at the point where Maya falls at the feet of her MIL, begging for acceptance.

I sincerely hope that there is a twist here, because I was cringing watching her going to such an extent to have a good relationship with Vandana.

Relationships cannot be forced upon people, nor can people give you love and affection like charity. Maya must give Vandana space instead of piling on like this. Otherwise she will simply reinforce Vandana's perception of Maya's obsession and stubbornness to get what she wants.

Yes, Vandana is irrational and unreasonable. Yes, her actions are unwarranted. But at this stage, trying to reason with her will not take Maya anywhere.

Vandana has already crossed the limits.

It's one thing thing when you don't accept Bahu, and it's quite another - to show deliberately disrespect, rudeness and to insult.

Even Ayan is now silent, he can not say anything. At the wedding he stood up for Vandana, but now he is silent.

Hope, Vandana will have to pay a heavy price, but there is a question whether Vandana had the heart at all...
